Lovely cottage room!

I stayed here for a wedding in the little cottage room away from the hotel and it was beautiful! Only enough space for 2 cars but mine was the only one there and was able to see my car directly from my bedroom window! Cute and comfortable little cottage upon the entrance was very modern and homey.

A night away with the family

Lovely grounds lovely building, extremely friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us but our rooms were very tired and housekeeping certainly wasn't to the standard I would expect - we had 3 rooms so if it was just one room you could understand but all three I don't think had been cleaned for a while- dead flies on windowsill in one room, very dusty furnitire - dusted around rather than items being moved in the second . In our room dirty windowsills, bath wasn't clean (hairs) and we had to remake the bed before we could use it. But we didn't make a huge song and dance as we can were only there one night and the draft by of house staff were great. We had superior doubles on the second floor which appeared to be undergoing renovations - Hoover left out in corridor, masking tape on carpet edges. Hotel is convenient for Reigate and Gatwick

Not as good as it used to be

Beakfast was not as good as on previous stays last year. But I understand it now has new owners! I tried to book again for a visit iun July, but their room rates have jumped significantly so no longer within ,my budget. My room was in the conference block and I was kept awake until after 11:30pm with noise from the room next to me. TV system is rather old school with two remotes and a digi box.

Hotel convenient to Epsom downs

Pros: Beautiful surroundings
Cons: We were in the annex rooms were a little tied.
Location: We had been at the races at Epsom we didn't have time to see any of the local attractions
Staying in a hotel when a wedding is on is always difficult. Every effort was made to accommodate us by the staff.

Nice hotel, but hotel was short of staff, and this showed with the mood of the staff... While still professional and no problems encountered, A smile would have been wonderful on arrival. On Arrival I was told by a stern face, no rooms ready yet.. and no apologies or suggestions or friendly welcomes as I waited. Once staff problem is fixed, I'm sure this will be an outstanding hotel.

Setting for hotel is glorious as are the grounds and building. Inside it's a little shabby, mattress has seen better days, bed was double rather than king size or queen size in huge room, breakfast was buffet... all a little tired out. What a pity

Nice Hotel in Quiet Location

Pros: The quiet location that was really close to my meeting.
Cons: Soundproofing in the rooms in the outbuilding. I could hear people above and next door using the loo and shower. Accept Amex onsite.
This hotel is in a great location just outside of Reigate. It enabled me to battle through the traffic the day before my meeting and drive a quick 15 minutes into Reigate in the morning. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal and breakfast I ate there was very good. All areas were tastefully decorated, clean and to a high standard. I would happily stay here again as the room and food were well priced and with free ample parking and wifi you can't go wrong. Just pay in advance on Expedia if using Amex as they don't accept it there which is annoying.

The hotel online is really deceiving to what it actually is. The outside is lovely and the grounds. But the inside is terrible and the staff don't tell you anything. I will be trying to a full refund on this hotel. We only stayed one night and was terrible.

Old world charm, modern facilities.

Pretty good all around. Only small number of rooms are in the old building but accommodation is good as isthe general level of amenities and facilities.
