There were a few issues with the hotel. The staff seems over worked and took long waits to check in/out or offer service. There is very loud construction happening in the lobby which is very distracting. I feel the price is not worth what I got for this stay. The room was fine for what it was, but at the price point I could have stayed closer to the train station/attractions and paid far less.

There were extremely rude guests that were on my floor; part of a school trip. They were trying use the staff to enter other guests’ rooms and were very disrespectful. It’s sad that I really didn’t get to enjoy my stay.

ChatGPT I'm really shocked this hotel is rated well, maybe it's because of its low price. But honestly, it's a terrible place. First off, the neighborhood doesn't seem safe at all. I arrived at around 1 AM and was met by a really unfriendly guy at the front desk. He wasn't welcoming in the slightest, just bluntly asked for my ID and credit card without even a basic greeting or smile. When I asked about where to park, he was unhelpful and just said "full," leaving me to figure it out on my own. They messed up my reservation too. I had booked a room with a king-sized bed but they gave me a room with two queens instead. That wasn't the worst part though. The room was filthy and, to our horror, it was crawling with bed bugs. My wife and I started itching as soon as we got into bed. I couldn't stay there, so I immediately called Expedia to find a different hotel and left first thing in the morning. What's more frustrating is that the hotel refused to refund me, even though they clearly messed up with both the booking and the condition of the room. My advice? Stay away from this place if you care about your safety and want a peaceful stay. It's just not worth the risk or the hassle.

I loved the property, I had no issues and plan to come back. Didn’t notice how far it was from DC, but if you’re looking for a cozy and safe space to come back to, I would recommend. I love the small touches and details. The small water station, hammock in the lobby and option to eat onsite was lovely. There’s also so much around to explore! This is definitely a hidden gem and well worth the price, which I found very affordable!

Great place to stay for business trips. breakfast staff was great. i wish bar stay opened longer but all bars in this area close at 12a if not earlier. Heater worked well, gym was adequite and very quiet. cab accessible. Restaurant, liqour store, grocery, 24hr pharmacy all nearby.
