Never Again!!!!!

Posted Jul 14, 2017
Pros: Staff were very courteous.
Cons: Clean up the entrance area and have all of the rooms fumigated.
I should have known by the grimy look of the entrance area that my stay at this location was going to be horrible, nonetheless, I opted to stay there. There was an immediate foul odor upon entering my room and as days went by it was apparent that someone with a pet (perhaps a dog) had previously live in the room for an extended period of time. Over the course of my stay, it rained heavily a couple of days. And as a result of the heavy rain, 8 or 9 of the approximately 15 TV channels were unavailable. According to the front desk staff this is a known occurrence and there was nothing that could be done about the loss of the channels. And unlike other hotels when something of this nature occurs, they did not offer anything to accommodate for the inconvenience.....totally unacceptable!!! Lastly, as I got further into my one week stay, the items provided at the morning "breakfast" became less and less until the point that there was ONLY coffee provided. Never again!!!!!!!

Never Again

Posted Jun 30, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Try cleaning.
20 minutes to check in while receptionist talked on the phone to her friend. Elevator had old food stains all over the floor and smeared dirt on the walls. Hallways and stairwells were filthy with carbage and cigarette butts. Shower water knob was not attached to valve. No hot water comes out of the bathroom sink. Old noodles were left in the kitchen sink for me as a welcome!. Work desk chair was completely broken. This place would have to be 100% better to be a sh$#hole!

We sincerely apologize for your disappointment with the in-suite amenities. To ensure cleanliness of kitchenware upon check-in, brand standards require us to make these items available at the front desk. Your feedback is appreciated, and we will be sure our front desk communicates this more clearly going forward. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused, and please give us the chance to make it up to you. Sincerely, General Manager

OK for one night

Posted May 27, 2017
The hotel staff were very nice. The room was clean. But the facilities overall are below par for the rate charged. The hall carpeting was dirty. Bed was marginally comfortable. No shower curtain and hand-held shower mount broken so I had to hold the shower head while bathing. Refrigerator was incredibly loud and kept me up. No dishes in the kitchenette and when I asked, they had none. Apparently they have a few sets that are first come first serve. So the kitchenette did me no good. I have stayed at other locations of this chain that were much nicer. This one really disappointed.

Don't ever stay here!

Posted May 10, 2017
Cons: EVERYTHING, from the location, the quality of the staff, upgrading the rooms, you name it.
I was in town for my mother's funeral and booked here because other family members were staying here. BIG MISTAKE. It was bad from the get go. Apparently there are 2 Extended Stay hotels at the same location - we went into the first lobby and were directed to the second building, which was a pit, and that's putting it mildly. Oh, and as we walked in, a police officer was exiting to go deal with some undesirables on the property. I commented to the front desk about the police and she nonchalantly replied that they were there often due to a convenience store around the corner where they congregated. My son had called previously and was told check in was 2 pm, but when we arrived, we were informed it was 3 pm and no effort was made to accommodate us. I asked to move to the other hotel and was told I had to call Expedia. While trying to do that, they managed to find 3 rooms. As to the rooms - this has to be the absolute worst hotel/motel I've stayed in. Even my husband, who is pretty laid back, thought it was bad. There were no hangers, one towel, no kitchen utensils or anything in the kitchen. Because we were heading to the wake, there was no time to switch, so we stayed the night, but I called Expedia that night after arriving back to the hotel to see hotel patrons that were very suspect and made me feel unsafe. My mother in law had lights that didn't work and a shower that wouldn't shut off. It was absolutely my worst hotel/motel experience ever.

I always check the beds when I first walk into a hotel room. I checked the bed and the blacker was filthy! There was make up and other stains on the blanket, and the sheets had food crumbs. The shower head was rusty and molded and the refrigerator was leaking. My experience was horrible. We left!

Worst hotel stay ever!

Posted Apr 20, 2017
Address on the Expedia site is misleading as there are two exact hotels built one behind the other. Entered the first one only to find out I was booked at the other one. Got back in my car and went to the other hotel. Upon entering the hotel, no one at the front desk. Had to go looking for front desk clerk. Finally knocked on a door marked employees and was told she would be out in a few minutes. Not what I wanted to hear after working an 18 hour day and was too tired to drive home. The room decor looked like something out of the 70's, mismatched and old. The bed looked like the sheets had been slept on and then made up with no change to the sheets. I was too tired at this point to make a fuss so I laid out towels all over the bed to sleep on. The Continental breakfast was from a grab and go cart in the hallway on your way out consisting of coffee, granola bars and muffins. Wouldn't pay even $20 to stay at this disgusting place again. Sorry but was too tired to even take photos of this place.

You Get What You Pay For

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: The front desk clerk who was there when I checked in was quite nice.
Cons: What couldn't?
I admit it. I went cheap. Still, the last time I felt so uncomfortable in a hotel that I did not even fully change for bed was at a dive hotel near a train station in Paris. At this hotel, the room on the first floor was noisy (backed to hallway on one side and the front walk on the other, and the other hotel guests were up most of the night. The toilet (very visibly) had not been cleaned or even fully flushed since the last guest used it. Ugh. The bed smelled of old Chinese food. The pillows were lumpy and cheap. I did not bother to go ask for a change of room since I checked in late and the other hotel guests were . . . unsavory. Next time, I'll pay the extra 10 or 20 bucks to stay somewhere else. Anywhere else.
