Former luxury brand.

Pros: Available on short notice in busy Rockville MD (DC metro) near my home during painting. The TV was good size and an excellent picture with Showtime.
Cons: Need to learn TEAMWORK. More TRAINED staff is needed.
Location: Right off I270 to commute farther south to the Capital beltway to DC & northern VA. Many local restaurants & chain stores very close.
The hotel itself is impressive-spacious & stylish. The rooms had everything you need except a hair dryer and current TV channel guide. However, the current Renaissance management is TERRIBLE. Little support is given to the front desk for correcting problems! Even the general manager was no help when I advised him that the hotel computer & printer were out of operation during my entire stay (9/12-9/14/16). The ice machine on my floor had to be started by the staff every time you needed it. When I ordered an la carte for breakfast, the waitress had to check with the cook whether he could actually prepare the dish. Also, the buffet was very limited compared to nearby Comfort Inn or Marriott Courtyard, which were fully booked.

Not what I expected...AT ALL!!

Pros: Not a lot. After seeing some of the things mentioned above. I was just ready to go just too tired to do so.
When you first walk in it appears to be very nice until you see the "Gift shop with 3-4 candy bars and a few out dated muffins. THAT'S IT!!! It was so poorly supplied that they would have done better to take everything out and not use it at all. Them as you approach the front desk. There is a rack of traditional Indian garb. Not sure that this should be your big seller at the front desk. Think about that gift shop. The hotel is clean enough though you never once saw any of the staff in the hallways. There was a room service tray on the floor in the hallway from the time I got there to the time I checked out. (Unacceptable). Raddison has always been a name synonymous with quality. Unfortunately the owners of this hotel have missed the mark. I think with a bit more attention to detail this could be a nice hotel again. But unfortunately until some improvements have been made I will not be revisiting nor will I be recommending this establishment to any of my friends or colleagues.

Pros: The price was great, comfortable accommodations, staff from front desk to cleaning staff very polite....
Cons: The side door front parking lot would not open from outside with key card. Elevator was a little unsmooth....
Staff & room very polite & room comfortable & Rosa did very nice job cleaning up & reshelving towels etc... Stayed two nights....

Pros: location. The bed was COMFY!!!!
Cons: Amenities, perhaps a continental breakfast. In room coffee could be better and make cream available, not powdered creamer, and more than 1 regualr and
