Everything was clean. Walkable to metro. Wonderful breakfast selection. Our family really enjoyed this place. Be aware it is 35 a night for valet parking.

Never good light in the rooms!!
The Marriott is notoriously known for "horrible lighting"!!! Two small lights on each side of the bed, no overhead light,no magnifying mirror in the bathroom, terrible light there too! Our room was against another building so hardly any sunlight to help the situation! As a woman who uses make-up, how are you suppose to prepare for an event? Not good enough....

While the hallways are older, the rest of the hotel is very nice. Breakfast is included, so that was nice, and tasty. My room was clean and the shower/sink had great pressure. Will stay again.

Awesome Affordable Stay near Walter Reed
Great front desk and valet service. Parking on side of building or valet. Carts were ready when we pulled up car. Room has kitchenette with pull out sofa and separate bedroom with the bathroom inside bedroom. Great pillows and blanket. Very clean and comfortable. 2 tvs. Lots of restaurants around.

Okay Stay
The hotel was pretty clean. The location was great. Able to walk to many restaurants. The hotel itself was just kind of blah. I should have researched more, but it was nothing to it. No nice lobby or restaurant for drinks and room service. It did have a nice breakfast that was included though. Other then location, the breakfast was the best part. Also, hotel parking was pretty expensive, so we paid for a much more affordable parking garage on walking distance to the hotel.

Hello Andrea, Thank you for your feedback. As a Residence Inn hotel we are designed for long stays, with spacious suites that include separate living, working, and sleeping zones. While we do not have a restaurant or room service, we do have multiple option within walking distance. Marriott has over 30 different options for the best hotel stay. If you are returning to the Bethesda area, I recommend you consider our Marriott Bethesda Downtown @ HQ or the Bethesda Marriott. They are both wonderful hotels and do have the amenities that you mentioned we were missing. Thank you again for your feedback.

Ok hotel, clean. But very basic, no extras like lotions, etc in bathroom. No hotel bar or restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Marriott has over 30 different hotels that are geared towards a certain customer wants and needs. the Residence Inn Brand is developed as an extended stay hotel with more spacious suites and kitchenettes. If you prefer a hotel with all the extras, Marriott has many more hotels that offer those amenities. If you are looking in the Bethesda Downtown area I would recommend our full-service Marriott downtown HQ hotel. Its has the extras that you mentioned. The location is great for getting public transportation (bus and metro) and there is a lot of shopping and restaurants in the area (walking distance). I liked having the countertop sink area to put toiletries on and appreciated the closet bar was not too high (I am quite short). Apparently they are about to do renovations which are really needed - tje place needs a refresh. Appreciated the on site laundry facility at a pretty reasonable prices.

We had an all too short stay at the Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Our room was huge, great mattress, spotlessly clean kitchenette and bathroom. The hallways smelled so fresh and inviting not at all stale and uninviting like many hotels. Staff was professional and pleasant. And the price was reasonable! Would I recommend this place? Absolutely!

Expedia needs to do a better job describing the cost of parking and WiFi at their hotels. The parking was $30/day and the WiFi as 4.95/day per device. The place itself was very nice and so was the hot breakfast…… which is also described as continental on Expedias site.

This hotel is very clean and the room is spacious and comfortable, they also provide complimentary breakfast, which is convenient. You may want to park your car in nearby public parking garage instead using the valet parking of hotel to save some dollars. Other than the hotel is perfect place to stay for your DC trip.

Hello Gary, Thank you for your feedback. My apologies for the odor issue. I'm not sure what you meant by no air circulation as our air condition system is tied into a central unit. It would be great if you could share your suite number, so we can look into the issue.Regarding your need for 2 bathrooms. I gather you reserve a one-bedroom suite for the 5 guests staying in the room. If that is the case, than yes you would get only one bathroom in a one-bedroom suite. I would recommend in the future if you require two bathrooms you reserve one our two-bedroom suites that do have 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. It would accommodate your number of guests and be much more convenient for your group. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing our hotel for your stay while in the Bethesda area. One of the only two elevators not working. The rate is too high for what it offers.The hotel needs to have a self-parking at an affordable rate.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience of the elevator outage. We do offer one of our service elevators as an option when this happens. Regarding the self-parking. Due to the configuration of our garage, we are unable to offer self-parking. We do find that our Valet parking fee is comparable to most of the hotels in the area. Locating the hotel was easy, valet parking, and check in were easy. The valet was very helpful with navigating the BBJ supper club. I would definitely stay here again.
