Hotel Stay after Andrew Bird concert

The hotel was beautiful!! We had a marvelous view of the river and city beyond. Our room was perfect for my daughter and I !! Spotless!! There is one thing....our room was 1428. The glass shower door made a very loud cracking noise when closing. Maybe someone should check it out.

Bed Bugs!

Issues with Buddy V's

Pros: Clean, modern, nice size room, nice food court with good variety of offerings, very nice staff, quick check in, good amenties, very nice Event Center.
Everything about the hotel was wonderful with the exception of dinner at Buddy V's. We were in the restaurant for our 5:30 reservation prior to an 8:00 show at the event center. Our party was 11 people and the restaurant was practically empty when we got there. However we did not receive our food until 7:30 p.m leaving us practically no time to eat before the show. 3 of our party got tired of waiting and left before the food finally came out. Pasta was not fully cooked, rabe was cold, chicken parm was dry, sea bass portions were very small for the price and dry, I had to ask the waitress 3 times for additional bread and we were so rushed we were not able to enjoy any part of the meal. Several of us complained to the manager of the long wait for our food and all we got were apologies...nothing offered to compensate us for our totally unacceptable experience in both food and service. I would not chooses this restaurant under any circumstances until they get their act together. I have since found out that these issues have existed for awhile and heard many complaints from other guests of this hotel. Other than this unfortunate situation, we loved everything else about the hotel and event center and would certainly return...food court is great too!! We would have been better off eating there. It would have been better food and much cheaper!!

I was upgraded to the executive suite as I was continuing my 50th birthday celebration. Great!!! Only the room had used ice in the ice bucket with no clean bag to get ice. There was a sticky spot on the carpet right in the doorway to the bedroom that I stepped on several times. Yuck. The glass covering the tables was dirty, like it was cleaned with a dirty rag and hadn't been removed to clean underneath ( don't ask me how but there was food remnants under there). These are small things but are important. I'm not a picky person but these details make a difference

Hotel that had everything

We stayed at hotel because we had tickets to see David Blaine Live. He had a show onsite. Which is why I titled the Sands Resort as " The Hotel that had everything." The Hotel had a event center, night club, outlet shopping, restaurants and bakery. It was so convenient. The room and amenities were clean and comfortable. Loved it!

We went shopping. we ate at the buffet we think the buffet was a little bit overpriced for the food they have. We played st the slots. Overall was good

nice hotel

The hotel was clean. Staff friendly and plenty of security. Only thing that surprised me was how many kids were there .

Just ok

Not a place for children. They don't allow check in before 3 and you must check out by 11. Good just ok, front desk staff below average and not so friendly. Room service is sub par, and if you want to go to the nice restaurants with kids you need a security escort etc. The outlet shops are just average. The spa is hardly a spa it's more like a Supercuts in a strip mall. Just go gamble your money don't stay there.

Convenient for our family reunion.

Pros: The indoor access to shopping. The variety of food services. Also the access to both the Fitness center and Pool were on the main level.
Cons: The smoke odor as you one walked to the restaurant.
Location: We did not have the time to investigate.
The staff were all excellent at the hotel which made it very pleasant.
