Wonderful old house

Posted Oct 17, 2017
Pros: Amazing breakfasts, wonderful hostess.
Location: We went during the peak week for fall colors, and they did not disappoint. It's a great location for hikes in the White Mountains.
This place is charming. We would stay there again.

Nice location, warm welcome and great breakfast

Posted Sep 15, 2017
This old historic house is well maintained and has lots of charm. Mary the owner is super nice and makes you very welcome. She cooks excellent breakfast. The location is good and close to a very good restaurant called Cold Mountains cafe if I remember the name well. It is also close to the great Franconia notch state park.

A pleasure to stay here

Posted Sep 10, 2017 on Hotels
This is a grand old house, and just staying here is an experience! It is comfortable and spacious. Mary makes an awesome (foodie grade) breakfast - unless you are hiking, or otherwise exerting yourself, you can't finish it!

Impressively clean bed-and-breakfast.

The service was exceptional and personal. The breakfast was delicious. The best part is that the place was immaculately clean. There were many areas beautifully furnished and comfortable to sit and relax, on the main floor of the property.

Beautiful historic mansion.

Pros: The history of the Mulburn Inn and photos of earlier residents.
Cons: Seating area in the room.
Location: Close to Franconia Notch State Park and White Mountain Scenic Trail.
Beautiful turn of the century historic mansion. Close to Franconia Notch State Park and White Mountain Scenic Trail. Innkeeper Mary is lovely and helpful, providing many amenities and great information. Breakfast is delicious and abundant. A wonderful old Hotpoint electric stove which was a gift from Thomas Edison. Magnificent rounded windows across front and stained glass set in stairway. Gracious front porch with rockers. Several beautiful parlors and living rooms on the main floor to relax in.

A jewel of an inn

Posted Aug 17, 2017 on Hotels
The Mulburn is a gorgeous historic mansion. The guest rooms are beautiful and comfortable, while the common areas offer plenty of room for guests to relax without getting in each other's way. The innkeeper, Mary, is a delightful hostess, helpful with local recommendations. She serves a wonderful breakfast. The town is pleasant and offers a good launching spot for exploring the White Mountains. This was our second stay at the Mulburn, and we'll be back.
