Yuck

The staff was very nice and friendly. I feel bad saying anything bad but feel it is my duty to warn others. I stayed here because most hotels were booked and I needed a place to stay. The room was filthy and dingy and not updated. There was gum stuck to the floor and blood on the sheets. There was a huge stain on the floor and I'm not sure if it was blood or something else. The room smelled of urine and the garbage dump was in the hallway with the rooms. The bathroom toilet had a black ring around it and there was dirt in the shower. I had to sleep in my clothes because I didn't want my skin to touch the sheets. I considered sleeping in the car but the lot did not feel safe and it was raining. Breakfast was a joke although due to the filth I had no intention of eating. I left the hotel feeling grateful for all I have and that I have always had a roof over my head. The place was a real dump.

Extended Stay America, Bethpage

Pros: Clean, quiet, private.
Location: Close to Bethpage state park, highway 135, northern parkway and several good eateries.
I felt that this was a good value for the money spent. The room was clean and had 2 comfortable beds, plus a small kitchen that we could use if we wanted to. They are not a full service hotel, so we made our own beds and exchanged our used towels for clean ones. I really liked that we did not have to rush out so that they could come by and make up the room. They offer free continental breakfast which was just ok. I would stay there again.

2 night stay and the maids never came by the room to clean it or refresh towels.

The hotel is close to our family.

Pros: The convenience to my family The outside appearance is appealing.,
Cons: The interior could be spruced up. It looks very dated.
The hotel is convenient for us. It's clean, but pretty pricey for no daily room service and food packets for breakfast.

Would want to have to stay at this extended

The staff wasn't helpful, there were no utensils or implements in the room and I found old tissues from a prior guest under a chair

It was clean. Definitely needs updating, the bed was comfortable. No housekeeping during a five night stay.
