The rooms were clean and nice but I had to request a fridge. The price was what made this a good deal because you'd spend more at a nearby upscale hotel. The casino was a typical lose-your-money scenario with a low win ratio. Maybe someone wins something but the machines just don't pay enough to keep you playing.
I was really taken aback when I set down to play at the bar and after losing for 10 minutes asked for a drink. The bartender told me $5.50 for a shot! Wow, really? I would have sat there and lost much more if the drinks were free like a real casino.
The buffet was a pretty good deal with good offerings and great staff. I t was nice to go eat without braving the weather outside.
If you need a place to stay and don't have a gambling problem, this is a great choice for Davenport/ quad cities area.

Did not notice in the initial booking that it was a smoking room. Did not try to make a change since the (This reservation is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or changed.). Next time I will try to look a little closer to details. I do not know if a non-smoking room would have had a higher rate. I will make sure that anyone that I recommend that they check such details before committing and money. Other than the smoke odor, the room was satisfactory and good location.
