Management needs to maintain the workability of the entertainment portions of the room. Our tv did not work, our DVD player was missing connecting cables. We were unable to view evening television, I was told upon checkout I would receive a discount on the room. No discount was given. Nice hotel and staff but zero oversight.

Great place for family gathering

We stayed here for my father’s 90th birthday party. Rented 3 rooms, 2 double queen rooms and a family suite which had 2 queen beds, king bed and sofa bed. Also frig and microwave. It was huge, clean, updated features and big enough for us all to hang out in. They let us use the breakfast area for free for his party! Great pool, kind and accommodating staff. Only downsides were ice machine and hot tub jets not working. Recommend highly.

Best Western - Buelah

This was a nice little hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. Room was generally clean. The cushioned chair had a stain on it but nothing major. Breakfast bar was pretty good too. Did not get to try the pool but it looked fairly well maintained. Not much happening in Beulah so don't expect to stop by a local Walmart/Meijer to pickup something that you forgot. It was a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the price was reasonable, which is why we stayed there. I would stay there again.

Do NOT stay here

Probably one of the worst hotels we've stayed in in the U.S. The walls are very thin and we could hear pretty much everything going on in the hotel, room had huge stains on the walls. Very unfriendly staff (did not even respond to my "Good Afternoon" when we walked in). What is the point of staying in a "pet friendly" hotel when "Dogs must NOT be left unattended at ANY TIME" so you can't even go out for dinner? Look at the tone of that pet policy...

I am truly sorry you feel that we are the worst hotel in the U.S. Being a pet friendly property means that pets are welcome to come stay with you while you are here.

Cons: both TV's in the work out room should work,
We enjoyed our time there, breakfast was good since I am a diabetic.

Nice hotel close to Crystal Mountian

Clean and comfortable

We were a late check in and we encountered a problem with our dog. The room reserved for us was not a "dog" room. They were full and told us there were no rooms available. We were there for a funeral, checking in at 10 pm with a 9 pound Shih Tzu. Pretty upsetting situation. The manager finally said it was ok after I signed a paper that Sadie the dog would not swim in the pool. I'm not kidding about that We received NO apology, funeral discount or Senior or AARP discount. Nice hotel...not so nice staff.
