The most unique aspect of the SLS Beverly Hills is the staff. Everyone is top notch and accommodating. All guests are treated like royalty.

Ambience and detail to decor. Thought music from swimming pool area was too loud for us to relax on balcony of our suite.

This hotel is no 5 star, more like 4 star... not the luxury that I expexted. No free wifi in room or coffe machine. Not the good greeting service as a 5 star hotel should be. Closet space is small, shower ok , but you get cold water all over you when you turn it on , kind of poor design for the shower. No detachable shower head also... Not able to turn off the bathroom Air conditioning, so it was on full at night. Good restaurant on site Bazaar, No bar service after 5 pm at the altitude pool...

Stylishly appointed facility, although, at times, impractical. The way finding system, for example, is terrible. Service left much to be desired, too. We made repeated requests for basic guest services like getting our broken nightlight repaired and simple things like turndown service. But, they blew us off. We couldn’t even get a return call. We won’t be staying there again.

The positive is the hotel is in a great location. However, there are several negatives about the property. We rented three rooms for my birthday weekend. Upon checking in which took forever I was asked for my driver’s license. I presented it and was told Happy Birthday by the receptionist which she was very pleasant. She tried checking us in and presented us with Hotel Keys when someone from the back came out and “barked” at her that we could not have that room. He abruptly left as quickly as he came. She spent another 10 minutes trying to find us a room or communicating with someone in the back. We never knew. Then she disappeared in the back for another 15 minutes. She came back and told us she worked it out. It was very strange. Regarding the room which is cool looking the function was horrible. All three couples commented on how badly the room was designed. Ie: the only place to put your suitcase was at the opposite corner of the room from the closet. No drawers anywhere so had to put bags and clothes on the floor. We asked for a luggage rack but never got one. At the prices charged this is a detail that should not have been overlooked. I plan on calling the manager next week we got the quick brush off as we were leaving. We had several,issues. Will NOT stay here again.
