They checked me into a hotel room that was still under construction with wifi that didn’t work, broken lights in the room, a phone that wasn’t connected, missing lights on either side of the bed, they didn’t ever want to clean the room or make the bed, or clean the sink, I had to call multiple times and even then they sometimes wouldn’t do it. There was no microwave, even though the listing said there definitely would be one- they didn’t care that so many things were missing out of the room, and that the wifi didn’t work. They told me if I didn’t like it I could leave. Staff were super rude, they wanted to do construction on my suit in the middle of the day when I was working on my laptop, and expected me to move my laptop and stop working so that they could come in and do construction to install a countertop. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! The wifi doesn’t work, they lie about everything they have in the room, and the customer service is terrible, or non-existent.

The staff is great. We stay here whenever we’re in town and the location is wonderful. You can walk to a lot of shops and restaurants. They are currently going thru a remodel so rooms were a bit unfinished but still comfortable. Excited to see it when completed.

Was not aware they were under construction, there was no parking and they also didn't have TV or wifi. Cut my stay short instead of staying the whole night.

Due to construction and renovations on property there was no tv available nor was there a parking space provided guaranteed. Some spots were blocked off due to renovations and that really did limit to what we really could do due to not wanting to have to find street parking once all 5 spots were taken up. Really nice rooms and amazing bathrooms. Only thing was the parking that was the big 👎

Noisy, under construction, not listed on the web anywhere, loud stomping all morning, no parking, had to park 4 blocks away, drilling and sawing until 5 pm, shower head was leaking, nowhere to put soap so had to leave it on the bottom of the shower

It's better than sleeping in the car.
Not to many good things to say about this place other than the location was convenient for work, the young man at the counter was nice. Other than that, I was seriously disappointed. Had to ask to borrow an iron, they loaned it o me, but it leaked. Glad I was ironing a dark colored shirt. No ironing board, had to iron on the bed, No closet, so I had to iron everything that I had in my bag because I had nowhere to hang them up. The ice machine and the vending machine didn't work. No elevator, since there were no rooms on the first floor that were available. Made climbing the stairs with a prosthetic knee kind of tough. But I was able to make it. No bathroom door, but a magnetic curtain. Stained chairs, had to put a towel in the chair before I could even sit tin it. No back to the TV remote, so half the time it worked the other half it didn't. Fell asleep with the TV on could use the remote so it stayed on all night. The heater was super loud, which was ok, because it drowned out all the noise from the street. All in all, this place has a lot of potential. I might give it another try in about 6 months? Hopefully by then the remodeling will be done.

Extremely poor security situation. No door at all on the opening into a dark alley. No lights in hallways and stairs. Door peephole is just a hole with no lens installed. No security chain on the door. I'm surprised that occupancy is allowed! If you are elderly, female, or vulnerable in any way, go elsewhere. Floors covered with a thick layer of dirt from construction. On the other hand, nice new fixtures and fresh paint. Obviously a work in progress.

DO NOT STAY HERE! It was a literal construction site, no warning given until check in. A pile of random lumber and a broken soda machine graced the courtyard. Trying to make the best of it after a long trip, I went to my room: stained carpet, dirty bathroom floors, and a literal buzz saw directly above me. The "manager" acted like this was acceptable and gave no acknowledgement that any of this may be a bummer. It didn't help that I had to go through Expedia to cancel. Somehow, their "system" (Expedia's) was down, both on chat and the phone. I was able to find a better spot nearby through Expedia though.

There was a stain on the sheets and I asked for a new sheet. New sheet also had stains on it. I decided that I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it, until we came back in the evening and found a cockroach in the washroom. We put our suitcases and bags back in the car and slept with the lights on the whole night. Also the room smelt like cigarettes and you can hear ppl walking upstairs. There's also very limited parking.

Good price but not clean
Room was dirty and bathrooms had black mildew on grout and on shower curtain. Also 2 hours before our checkout time a couple had already been given keys to the room before we checked out and they walked into the room while we were still in bed. We were both surprised and were told they could aces the room early. Thus is not acceptable.

This place is in shambles. Furniture is broken or non-existent. Beds are ancient. The place is under construction, but they don't tell you until you arrive. They tried to put me in a room that was a bed and aTV in the wall -- no furniture, no closet, no hangers, no fridge, no microwave. I had to wait an hour to get what I overpaid for. There were rats in the courtyard. I have never stayed in such an awful place, and the front desk doesn't care.

Ive never stayed in a worse place. Price and quality are way off from getting anything good. I am discussed by this place. Stains all over the beds, lose cables hanging out the walls, bathroom didnt have a door (just a curtain). I think the english word for a place like this is "dive"!

Currently under renovation banging and hammering from 8am even Sunday. Asked receptionist where could I get a coffee from got a response outside somewhere and then he just walked away. Ended up asking a woman walking her dog in the road outside and found out a Coffee shop is on the next block like 1 min a walk away. Bad area, lots of rough sleepers, litter, very noisy with traffic until early hours not just traffic noise that and also music blasting out from cars with gangbangers.

a nice little spot with a terrific, available staff and manager. nice to still be able to find an affordable joint in Hollywood to stay. location couldn't be better in regards to walkability to nightlife, shopping, or safety. stayed for a week. great restaurants all around (el coyote!), grocery stores, shopping (Melrose Ave.), and The New Bev Cinema right down the road. Very easy to come and go. Perfect spot for solo travelers.

The location to our event was great. The staff was friendly. What I did not like: Parking was SUPER tight, if I had not been with someone that had a handicap pass there would not have been a spot. There was a smell of urine in the bed and the room looked unclean but it just needed new paint. Unfortunately I had the guests from hell in the room next door but that was just bad luck ( came home every night at 1:30 am). It was very strange that there was no in room coffee and the ice machine was not working. But the staff was great!

It’s not nice and not a good value
It was dirty , filthy. Hardly any parking , they say free parking but it is so limited that you then have to park on a street and continue to feed a parking meter . The staff is nice. We paid for 2 nights but could not stomach staying there more than one night .
