Quiet and comfortable

Posted Nov 12, 2017
Pros: Quiet, comfortable, nicely designed.
Cons: Charging for access to the fitness suite and then not allowing access because of renovations.
The Chamberlain is a comfortable hotel in a quiet residential neighbourhood but in a great location for WeHo, Sunset and Beverly Hills. The rooms were lovely and the bed super comfortable. Bathroom very small. There is a $20 charge for the facilities and water in your room every day, but twice they didn't put water in my room and they also had renovations going on which meant I couldn't access the fitness suite, yet no refund. Pool area is small.

I do apologize, our fitness center was open. We posted the access which was through the restaurant. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for staying with us.

Under construction

Posted Nov 5, 2017
In the past this has been a wonderful place to stay with a great location. This time there was a nasty smell like musty, moldy water damage but they insisted it was because of updating and remodeling on the third floor. We will try again but hope the problem is resolved soon!

Has to be the worst hotel in Hollywood

Posted Oct 8, 2017
Just a heads up, the hotel has only one parking option which is valet $42 a night and they charge you an extra $20 if you drop off your car after 6pm. It's LA who is coming in before 6pm. The power went out, water coming from the ceiling, fire alarm kept going off... on top of the craziness the rooms were dirty and some parts even smell! Would not recommend. There are plenty of better hotels in the area with the same price range with much better amenities and service.

Parking at the hotel is consistent and in some cases lower than other hotels in our market. We do not have a drop off charge. Unfortunately the power failure was the result of the entire city being down and beyond our control.

Over-priced

Posted Sep 18, 2017
This is a low end apartment building that was converted to a hotel. The roof top bar doesn't exist and the pool is the size of a jacuzzi. You can do much better in this price range.

Great boutique style property in WeHo

Posted Sep 14, 2017
Pros: The location and the style of the property, which was very classy and unique
Cons: The air conditioning unit was exceptionally loud, so we couldn't sleep with it on. We stayed during the heat wave, so this affected sleep a bit.
Location: Walking distance to Sunset Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and easy to connect to the other areas of LA
We thoroughly enjoyed the space and comfort of our room in West Hollywood. Hotel Chamberlain provided a great base to explore LA, and the staff were all super nice. The breakfast was great, and it was nice spending afternoons up on the pool deck. We stayed in a deluxe suite, and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable.

It was very disappointing that I was given a handicapped room which I didn't sign up for. I asked to be changed which was done until the third day. In both rooms the ac units were so old that noise it made didn't make me sleep well. I could hardly listen to the television. Furthermore, the telephones in either rooms were not working. Very disappointing for the price paid.

Nice hotel in WEHO

Large room, nice furnishings. Not cookie cutter. Hallway smelled like wet dogs. Room was dark.
