Nice stay

Pros: Location and rooftop are grea!
Cons: Food in the restaurant.
Location: Shop at the Grove and the Beverley Centre. Also head to LACMA.
Lovely staff and facilities. The rooftop pool and bar is great. Only downside is the food at the restaurant is not great.

Small hotel but elegant, horrible customer service

For one, the hotel is pet friendly and the rooms are nice. It also has a nice rooftop restaurant. But the people running the show are horrible. Check in was at 3, I called ahead of time to see if I could get a early check in, I was told I would be called back with an update but I never got one. Then when I got to the hotel at 3:30, my room still was not ready. I had to wait u til almost 6 PM to check in, then after a two day stay, my bank tells me than a random 150 charge went on my card. The charge was a $75 "daily holding fee" but it still hasn't been released and that was over a month ago! Management is horrible

Clean, contemporary, convenient and safe

Pros: Location
Cons: Hand soap at the sink, complimentary bottled water
We were visiting family and wanted to be close by. First time to LA and unsure what to expect in terms of walkability, safety, etc. This hotel fit the bill. Very comfy bed, bathroom was phenomenal (although weird that they had no hand soap for the sink). Full sized shampoo, conditioner, shower gel was a plus - smelled delightful. Tub is super deep - might make stepping in hard for someone with mobility issues. Nice robes. We did not order from room service. Typical pricey mini-bar items were plentiful. Would have been nice if they offered a couple of bottles of complimentary water. Staff in lobby very friendly. Oh, and there's a McDonalds next door which was convenient for breakfast.

Staff was super friendly. Hotel was really nice, convenient location, really clean. (only bummer - we picked the hotel for the pool and didn't know that it would be closed after 6pm. The one afternoon we could have jumped in - it was closed for a private event - so that was a bummer cause it was HOT out!)

Had booked a suite for 3 nights. Generally good condition, but unfortunately the sofa bed was not made up. Had to ask reception 3 times before receiving the correct number of sheets. Strangely enough, instead of making the bed up, they just delivered the second sheet and I had to make it myself!! Luxury Boutique Hotel?? Very unusual for

A winner, esp. for pet owners

Great friendly staff and great rooms for families. Roof restaurant is really nice too and well worth it if the weather is good (and nearby construction not too noisy). Great attitude about pets too - easy to take her out when needed.
