Basic And Clean

Posted May 1, 2016
More like a sophisticated dormitory than a 3 star hotel, but conveniently located for Beverly, Essex,,Ipswich, etc. Bed was firm, clean and comfortable, but the shower belonged in a cruise ship, and the LG TV was old and cheap. The fitness room is basic but clean, and staff are mostly indifferent.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s great to hear that our location was ideal for your trip to the Boston North Shore area and that you got a good night sleep in our beds. However, we’d like to point out that our TVs are flat-screen HDTVS. It would be a pleasure to serve you again.

Was ok

Posted Apr 29, 2016
Pros: The grounds where pleasant. Parking was ok.
Cons: Food, service, room updating.
Desk staff was not very welcoming. Room was dated and small. I could hear the person above me peeing at all hours. I was told that they served dinner, microwaved premade meals were not being eaten around me so I went out. I travel over night over 90 times a year on business and this was well below my normal stay.

Although we’re happy that our scenic grounds were a highlight of your trip, it saddens us to learn that your stay fell short of your expectations. Our café does serve light dining fare prepared by our chef. We hope you’ll give us a chance to provide you the warm welcome you deserve in the future.

Worth the stay

Posted Apr 25, 2016 on Hotels
It is a beautiful stay far from the ocean. I was not able to take the time to experience the surroundings, but it's a beautiful little area. The staff was very nice. The room was great and it was reasonable. They do have buffets, but it's not clear if there's a formal kitchen. I was not there a long time

Hopefully you’ll have an opportunity to explore the Boston North Shore area on a future stay! For your next visit at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College, we’d like you to know that we’re located just off the water with our own private cove. Our Fountain Café and Bar does serve a menu of freshly prepared lighter dining fare options throughout the day. We’re pleased to discover that you found our Inn to be a great value and we appreciate you commenting on your experience.

Nice and quiet the dining is great there too. They have a personal chef right from culinary school to make all the meals

Thank you for your kind comments on your stay at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College. It’s great to hear that our private cove and peaceful location made for a lovely experience at our Inn. Our chef at the Fountain Café and Bar has such an extensive background and we’re glad that his masterfully prepared meals added to your stay as well! It would be a pleasure to serve you again the next time you visit the Boston North Shore area.

Won't be going back.

Posted Mar 21, 2016 on Hotels
At check in, the front desk was not personable at all. He never smiled. It almost seemed like we were bothering him. We wanted to eat breakfast there but decided not to because we were so uncomfortable. The shower curtain had mold on it. The tv volume was temperamental. Will drive miles away to stay at a better place next time. Would have used hotel frequently in the next three years while child is in college.
