Brilliant location
Had a lovely stay at the Brit Marbella. The location can’t be beaten, seconds from the beach and surrounded by lots of food and bars! Booked a balcony room but ended up getting a view of the back of the hotel instead of at the front where all the fun was happening which was a little disappointing. But the room itself was comfortable and clean. I would recommend wearing earplugs because we found we could hear the other guests in their rooms quite easily

Terrible - do NOT stay here
Our stay was extremely disappointing. Staff called us 2 days before we were due to arrive demanding payment and threatening to cancel our stay if we didn't pay immediately over the phone despite having selected the pay at the property option. After giving our card details, the staff were extremely rude and suggested we did not have enough money in our accounts to pay for our stay. Eventually after many attempts they accepted our payment. Upon arrival, staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. We opened our room to discover a bucket collecting leaking water from the ceiling. Staff informed us there was nothing they could do when we brought the issue to them, claiming it was condensation due to the hot weather. The room itself was in poor condition and there was only one wall socket. Would not recommend.

Difficult to access by car as road is closed after 11 am. Very central location, view of ocean from the balcony. It’s on a noisy street but with windows and sliding door closed the noise is minimal. Frigo and kettle in the room very much appreciated.

Great hotel in an ideal location with a great price. Steps from the beach on a street with bars, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Rooms have a modern feel to them and we were fortunate to stay on the top floor with balcony. Such an amazing deal!

The hotel is located in the heart of Biarritz, 1 minute from the central beach, in a very pretty and well-kept street. The room was clean and well furnished, the bathroom was certainly recently renovated and the shower is nice and large. The terrace is large and overlooks a street with little traffic and noise. Great price quality, would stay there again!

The property was clean and looked after. It was very close to the beach and restaurants. The only things i disliked is the fact that the wifi was extremely slow it kept disconnecting from my phone so I used my data and the breakfast was quite expensive in my opinion for what was offered, apart from that it was nice to stay over at the hotel.

Recently refurbished, redecorated, air conditioned and very clean. All staff very helpful and they can provide beach towels and umbrellas for guests. Close to a beach (100m) and to restaurants and cafes. The beach is 8m below street level down steps. There is no car park and the surrounding streets are restricted, steep and narrow but with some parking spaces.

Family room was excellent. Spacious for European standards. Mini-fridge is really useful. The location is great. Beaches, stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Actually, in Biarritz you can get anywhere by foot.

- internet is very annoying, you get kicked out every few minutes and have to fill in your credentials again with every log in + location is amazing + big and comfortable bed

Brilliant location
Brilliant location for hotel. We were within walking distance of the three main beaches not in Biarritz and lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and well equipped. Would certainly look to stay there again if we came back to Biarritz.

Given the price and the photos online, I was expecting a boutique sort of hotel, but instead found out that this was a cramped place with dirty and stained hallway carpets with a tiny lift to a room in which the air conditioning was not working the first night so we were provided with a fan to help cool the very hot room. We ended up needing the fan on for our entire stay as the air conditioning never really cooled the room. The hotel staff tried their best to rectify the situation and were very friendly and helpful... it’s to their fault that this hotel is presented as something nicer than iwhat it really is- a tourist trap!

Bear in mind that the main entrance is in a pedestrian zone closed to cars during the day. You can use the rear entrance.

Only issue with the room was the lack of hanging space. Even a few hooks at the back of the doors and in the bathroom would have helped. The safe too should be mounted on the wall rather than be located on a lvery ow shelf.

This is a pleaant hotel close to the beaches and restaurant to. Also close to numerous restaurants and bars. Breakfast at hotel very expensive though.

Small friendly hotel with modern rooms.
Small friendly hotel. Good sized modern room and bathroom in the middle of pedestrian area. Only negative I can think of was lack of parking, depending on season this can be difficult.

Great location, right near to the beach.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Spacious family room was a pleasant surprise. The owner was very friendly and if you want to be near to the Port and the small, but sheltered beach this is the perfect place to stay. As this hotel is on a busy road - the family rooms which face onto the road can be noisy, but there is air-conditioning so you can close the windows and shut out most of the noise. We have young children so this hotel suited us. If you want to be near to the larger beach with the surf then other placed may be better.

Unfortunately expedia only submitted my booking the week before I arrived when in fact I had made the booking at least 5 months prior. The hotel went out of their way to see I was accommadated and were very apologetic when I needed to change rooms because of the error and gave me a free breakfast.

I would't stay here again
The hotel is in a great location, but it wasn't very clean. The bathroom sink was clogged really badly. The room was big for europian standards but I was happy to only have to stay there for one night.

Hotel is over rated
The hotel is grossly overrated and misrepresented. The room images shown on hotels.com depict modern, clean rooms. Our room had a very old, worn an dirty scarlett red carpet. the air conditioner dripped water all night and the surrounding carpet was saturated. We could hear the elevator loud and clear at all hours of the day and night. At best this is a 2 star hotel. Clearly would not recommend.

Lovely hotel close to everything
The hotel was lovely. Very clean and modern. Lots of space in our double room to put our clothes out and pop the suitcases away. There is a small bar fridge where you could keep milk and some cheeky cheese to go on your delicious French baguettes! The staff were fabulous - so friendly and helpful. Any questions and they had the answers.

Great location
This hotel is in a perfect location, close to beaches and lots of restaurants. The beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet except for the noise of the lift! Parking is traumatically difficult ( we were there in August) so once we had managed it we didn't dare move the car again to explore, which was a shame. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it was expensive and the dining room didn't look particularly cheerful so we don't know how good it was. It was very nice to have a kettle so we could make tea but we provided our own tea bags as they only left one per day. However, they might have given us more if we'd asked.
