The coastal scenery is stunning at nearby Hartland Quay, and the South West Coast Path is easily accessible. The cottage is down a private lane away from the main road, within the grounds of a smallholding. This is an ideal area for sea swimmers, surfers, walkers, nature lovers or anyone who just wants have a relaxing break. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one upstairs each with their own bathroom. There is a fifth bed suitable for a child or teenager in the upstairs lobby. There is a large open plan living/dining room with a wood burner, and a conservatory which leads out on to the lawn and patio and has views over fields and through woodland. The wood burner and underfloor heating mean the accommodation is ideal for any time of year. Very spacious cottage, ideal for the four of us and could easily accommodate 6\. Facilities couldn't be faulted. Ideal resting place to explore the local attractions, coastline and within easy reach of Devon and Cornwall's AONB. Amazing coastline views for day trips. We would definitely stay at Penny's again when next visiting such a lovely and hospitable part of the country with it's own rich cultural history. ##### Rowland F. So much so that we actually extended our stay. Penny and her husband are friendly, so helpful and were really patient and understanding with us. We felt so welcome. Thee cottage is a very generous size with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and room for a fifth person or child. But despite its size, it is so cosy. We had an amazing first holiday with our 7 month old baby.
