“Come here if you'd like to find out what great Italian home cooking tastes like. We had two diners here, and regret we didn't have more. The minestrone soup, lasagna and aubergine Parm are so fresh and refreshing, even though I'm used to the great Italian restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's nice to have a comforting dinner overlooking the lake, after a day of sight seeing, and finishing with home made apple cake and ice cream or rum with chocolate.”

“Das Hotel ist von der Konzeption eigentlich ein Motel. Jedes der Zimmer hat eine Tür zum Parkplatz. Das erleichtert das Aus- und Einladen. Keins der Zimmer verfügt über ein Fenster. Da die Türe zum Parkplatz milchverglast ist, ist das bei längerem Aufenthalt ein Nachteil. Ausser dem Bett besteht die Einrichtung der Zimmer aus einem wuchtigen Regal. Praktisch, aber nicht sehr gemütlich. Grosses Manko bei längerem Aufenthalt ist, dass es keinen Kühlschrank und keinen Wasserkocher gibt. Das……

The whole atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area but also the rooms, breakfast, music during breakfast and the discreet but perfect service (not to intrusive) makes you feel like being in a grand hotel of the last century. “Schönes Hotel in super Lage direkt am See und nettes Personal. Leider war der Mülleimer in Bad bei Ankunft nicht geleert und der Kühlschrank hat anfangs nicht funktioniert, aber die Anliegen wurden schnell behoben. Ansonsten alles sauber, das Frühstück war sehr gut”

“The hotel is located on the lakeside road in Lago Maggiore, approximately 4.5 kilometers from Arona city center. Ample free parking is available, and transportation is convenient. Our lake-view terrace room offered beautiful lake views. The room and bathroom were well-equipped, and a generous buffet breakfast was served.”

“Las habitaciones impecables, el personal muy amable y profesional, el desayuno era bueno, de 9, y el bar muy bien servido. La zona de piscina no es muy grande y aunque hay aparcamiento gratis, una vez se completan las plazas en el hotel, hay que llevar el coche a una parcela que está junto al hotel pero no muy bien preparada de aparcamiento y sin mucho control.”

“The property location was great and the room and breakfast were good. The only issues were that the air conditioning wasn’t working throughout the hotel and we weren’t made aware of this. It was only when we got to the room and tried it that we found this out. We were given a fan to use but the room was very hot. Also, the pool wasn’t operational but again we weren’t made aware of that.”

“Although off a very busy road, property was super quiet, especially at night. Stresa was less than a half hour drive away. Supermercato was a two minute walk. On a rainy day the gym next door let us try the facilities for free”
