Don't stay here

Do not stay here if you think you might need to change your itinerary after you initially book. I booked through an online company for 2 nights. About 2 weeks before my stay, I had something come up and could only stay a night. I called the hotel, and was told I had to call the online company to change my reservation. So I did. And guess what? The online company told me I had to call the hotel. So I did, again, and got a different person. I explained my situation to them and they told me that it would be no problem checking out a day early. After all, things come up, right? Little did I know that it was OK to check out early, but they were not going to give me my money back, which I found out about on the morning I checked out. It is totally convoluted the way they set up reservations due to the fact that they are a time share establishment, which also was never mentioned. In fact, the online booking agency has them listed under HOTELS, and every other hotel I have ever stayed at has had a cancellation policy. Not this place. I found out that even if you book the room, then cancel it for whatever reason, THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOU.You can't get a straight answer from anyone, because your reservation goes through all these confusing channels, everywhere except the front desk. All they do is scan your credit card. I would never stay here again, and suggest you don't either.
