Enjoyable experience!

I like all the staff there, especially one of the receptionists, Jack! We arrived pretty late. Jack solved all the problems for us and patiently explained facilities and what big sky has to offer during our stay. Overall, wonderful experience!

Beautiful surroundings

The service was incredible especially for my handicapped friend. They made it so darned easy and breakfast was very good. The complimentary ski lift ride to the top of the mountain was incredible... Remember to take a coat!

Great Place to Stay out of season!

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Wasn't a lot not to like.
Cons: The AC.
Location: In the summer there are tours and zip lines. Winter all the ski slopes will be open adding to the amenities.
Everything was awesome at this hotel, I am planning to go back in the winter as I bet this place is rocking when the ski slopes open. It is a nice place to stay very quiet and relaxing and the room gave more of a being at home with the high end furniture and fire place. The Bar and grill had one of the best steaks I had ever eaten and breakfast in the morning was good too. Everything was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The only bad mark I have to give is the AC in the room. The room was so hot that the AC had to be adjusted way down to where it was hard to find a happy medium. As soon as it shut off it was very hot and after it came on it was freezing. It was soo hot in the hallway that I was sweating as soon as I walked out of my room.

Sofa bed or Murphy? Your choice.

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Nice modern room. Well appointed except no standard bed. It's a sofa bed or a pull down Murphy. Not good enough for the price.

wonderful stay

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The ambiance
Everything was booked in or near Yellowstone so we ended up staying here and had an amazing time. It does take at least an hour from the West gate of Yellowstone to the resort. Beware if you end up doing the drive when it starts getting darker, we had two very close encounters with deer. So it's a bit far from Yellowstone, but the hotel itself was so much more than we were expecting, that it definitely made up for it. The breakfast was amazing too, a very nice spread.

Not What I Was Expecting

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The view was gorgeous!
Cons: The cleanliness of the common areas of the hotel and the service housekeeping provides. Also breakfast could have included eggs without cheese.
Location: Skiing, Yellowstone, zip lining, biking.
The room we stayed in was very small. The couch bed was very uncomfortable and when we had housekeeping come in they emptied the garbage but did nothing else. We had towels on the bathroom floor and they didn't even replace them.

Great place for summer in Big Sky country!

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Staff was experienced and very knowledgeable about the resort and the area. Room was just right for our needs
Location: north of West entrance to Yellowstone--and close enough to Bozeman. We loved driving our convertible around the area enjoying the scenery / wildlife.
loved the whole experience right from the start...check in was a breeze, bellman very helpful. Fireplace in the beautifully decorated room was a delight. Equipped little kitchen had everything we needed for the little bit of cooking we did. We loved taking the tram and the lift chairs...and watching the zip liners go over our heads as we hiked along. After returning from the summit of Lone Peak I was pretty cold so hopped into the hot tub and enjoyed the relaxing heat and bubbles.
