“Great location, room and service. ”

“My wife and I loved this property. 3 adults and 2 children in our group. If you are okay with simple accommodations with great service and beautiful scenery you have to stay here. Grounds were immaculate when we arrived and we were greeted with 2 Toucans as we headed to our cabin. Tons of hummingbirds flying around. This place just felt so full of life! The hikes on the property were great. Took my 77yr old dad to the waterfall. He had no issues. We were the only ones there our first……

“I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. And don't forget about breakfast. Everyday, we had homemade to order……

“We had a great time at the property. It is a family owned property, very well maintained and managed. The whole family very amicable and friendly. Uncle gave us a free night tour in his garden which was really sweet and informative. Loved the breakfast aunty prepared. Only drawback is the road to property is broken however nothing can match to the great hospitality! “It was our first time visiting Costa Rica. The stay at Lucky bug B&b was nothing short of awesome. It's run by Rob and Monica who were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is prepared by Monica herself, and she could be the best cook in town! The property itself is very serene, lots of birds chirping early in the morning. “We just finished our fabulous stay. The room was spotless and we so appreciated the VIP welcome fruit platter! The grounds are clean, workers are friendly and very helpful, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the hot springs and loved venturing to a couple of the Waterfalls.
