This is a historic property with lots of charm. The rooms are beautiful, well appointed and very large. The only drawbacks are that the bar closes at 10 and the rooms could stand to have better lighting. But overall this is an excellent hotel.
The large porch and sitting area in the lobby. The front desk clerks as well as the other staff was very friendly. Love that there was a coffee maker with coffee and bottled water in the rooms.
Loved everything except the fact no mini fridge in room. Total bummer as we would of loved to save some Thanksgiving leftovers!
I absolutely loved my stay this past weekend! We were in town for a long weekend to celebrate a friend’s wedding. The reception was also held at the Whitehouse. I am so glad I decided to stay there. The hotel is clean, quiet and gorgeous. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. Room service, drinks and Cora’s were top notch! I cannot wait to stay there again and again. It’s worth the slightly higher cost! So much better than the casino hotels. The Whitehouse made this special weekend even more memorable!
