"We really enjoyed our stay at the Lightwell. The spa is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!"

"Good: amazing views with a balcony room, comfy bed, and very helpful and friendly staff. Bad: missing basic amenities, like coffee and cream in the room and working internet. Couldn't even load Google search most the time - speed test said 0.1 maps dowload/upload speed. Ended up having to leave the hotel early to stay somewhere with reasonable internet as we work while traveling."

"Great stay, beautiful area. However, definitely not worthy of a $50 a night resort fee. Everything was great, value did not feel met based off the price paid."

"Great property with stellar views next to an iconic hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and parking was easy. No elevator so keep that in mind! Easy access to neighboring hotels and downtown. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. I felt the rate was reasonable. We usually stay on the other side of Hood River so this was a fun change. We’ll be back! "

"Friendly staff, decent rooms, but musty smelling and older bed. Stairway to the second floor was a bit rickety and moved as we walked together up the metal staircase."

"Very helpful staff, bed was comfortable, room had plenty of space to move around. We were in a ground floor room, easy access. Wish the pool had been open as it was a very hot day."
