We didn't stay there because we were told by my daughter and her boyfriend, who is a local Peace Officer, that the hotel is used for homeless people and there was a stabbing that took place there a few weeks ago!

The front desk agent was friendly, but the hotel hasn’t been cleaned. Our room had food and dirt all over the floor, the drawer of the tv stand had a face mask, someone’s leftover vape pen, and a creepy written note left along with food and bugs along the bottom. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned either, we didn’t feel comfortable showering there. The hallways smelled too, very disappointing.

My soul my husband and my grandchild were on the way to Rochester got extremely tired and pulled up for arrest to your hotel Econolodge it is absolutely disgusting the hallways are filthy that I can deal with but we got into the room and the tub was full of mold and dirt the place is disgusting and I’m looking for a full refund as soon as possible

Carpeting in halls is gross. The room smelled “old” and stale. Bare minimum, but had to crash for the night. At least we didn’t come home with any bugs.

Well I fell asleep watching Tv I woke up and decided to get in the bed ,when I pulled the spread back there were no sheets or pillowcases on the bed. It was like 1 am at this point I decided I just sleep on top of the spread.

We asked for a non-smoking room and it stunk of cigarette. Even the lobby when you walk in has that stale cigarette odor. Condition of room made it feel unclean whether it actually was or not. Tub/shower was not used due to the appearance.

There was no coffee maker or ice bucket in the room. Had to make two trips to office for ice bucket. No alarm clock in the room. Bathroom fixtures and rest of room very old. Hard wood floors. 20 minutes after taking a shower the bottoms of my wife's feet were dirty from walking on the floor.

I’ve stayed in motels before so comparatively speaking this was a good one. It was clean, the bed comfortable and pillows soft, not the kind that seems filled with cement. And there was enough soap for both of us.

Sorry that I did not read the reviews prior to booking. The hotel had no smoking signs everywhere but the hallways stunk of cigarette smoke. The hallways are very dimly lit and the carpet was incredibly dirty. The room itself was okay. The bathroom toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned and it was difficult to tell if it was remnants of someone's bowel movement or stains. The nightstand hadn't been wiped down and had sticky beverage rings on it. The property needs some serious work.

The place smelled like an ashtray. Asked for another room. They gave me one a floor above. The smell was better but there was a burn hole in the blanket and rug. The pillow cases needed to be washed. The bathtub had mold growing around the edge. There were spots of condensation of smoke all throughout the room ceiling.

Lots of folks living full time in this place, hanging out smoking everywhere. Lots of loud running between rooms. My first non smoking room smelled like smoke so bad that I had to move and it still smelled terrible. Rooms are falling apart, sheets and towels are yellow.

As soon as I walked through the front door into the lobby i was greeted by a strong odor of marijuana. The entire building and hallways all had a stale smoke smell, both cigarette and drug smell.

Keep Driving!!
It was horrible, the place was dirty, than a worker banged on our door once at 730am than again at 8am because of someone's mistake "the new girl" than at 10:30am they banged on the door again but this time the cleaning crew wanting us out so they could clean checkout was not until 11am yet we had been harassed starting at 730am!! I got zero rest after a day of driving!!

We had a "non-smoking" room that was only 2 doors from the smoking wing of the motel. Needless to say our room was smokey the whole time. The bathroom was in poor condition. There was a ceiling patch falling off the ceiling. There was mold on the shower walls and the toilet handle leaked water. You could tell the room had been used by smokers from all the cigarette burns on the bathroom sink and counters. I liked the new flooring and wall hangings in the bedroom. The linens were fresh and clean. The breakfast room was nice.

Skeevy place. Man at the check-in counter seemed angry we came in at 11 pm in the evening, even though I called the day before to say we'd be coming in late. No directions on how to get to the second building, nor a map. Had to ask about breakfast times. No info on how to access wifi. Hallways were freezing, and even the room was freezing, even after we turned on the heat. Bathroom had two dead bugs on the floor. Toilet was filthy! Woke up at 7:30 am, and we heard vacuuming outside of our room! Looked out, and sure enough, an employee was vacuuming at 7:30 in the morning! What place starts cleaning THAT early?? Went to breakfast at 8:30 am [breakfast was over at 9 am], and there was NOTHING LEFT except bread. Asked for pancake batter to make waffles; told we were too late! So disappointed. Won't be back. Served its purpose -- sleep and shower. No frills at all. Basic.

I requested non smoking the place and room was all smokey I could hardly breathe I had a little baby it was terrible Also they didn’t empty the garbage I wasn't aware that they would not clean the room so when we returned late that night it was sad to see that it was not cleaned or new linens plus some of the wash cloth were so badly stained I went to get a banana and there were no fruits I would not recommend hotel for family visits it is not newly renovated
