“This was such a lovely experience! The inn was very well kept and our room was stunning! Would definitely stay here again”

“We only stayed one night but staff could not have been kinder. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The restaurant one the property needs improvement on there food.”

“The great thing about this property was that its location was outside of Lancaster, surrounded by farmland, and so peaceful. A fire pit with plenty of cut wood was provided as well. Morning breakfast was delicious and made to order. With a checkout of 11 am, there was still time to relax before leaving, and the rates just could not be beat.”

“Wonderful, quiet, clean and comfortable stay! The staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The vouchers toward breakfast at the restaurant next door is a bonus! The food and coffee….delicious! ”

“The room was clean and it was convenient since our air conditioner had stopped working. However, my room was right across from the laundry and many of the staff were lingering in the doorway of the laundry area and talking loudly early in the morning. The young man at the front desk also was difficult to communicate with upon checking in.”

“Room needed updating. The carpet was buckled and needed to be cleaned or replaced. The furniture also needed updating. There was no iron in the room. There was no elevator and it was a bit challenging to get to the room with luggage. Grounds were lovely.”

“Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the Sight & Sound theatre. Very clean and lots of food variety. Comfortable atmosphere. Outdoor pool and a couple little variety shops. We enjoyed the stay very much.”

“Very good for the money. Plus, you can use the facilities of the other hand-in-bird hotels.”

“The bath tub was filled with someone else’s hair from when they shaved which was unbelievable I spent 500$ and couldn’t use the shower because I’m not cleaning up somebody else’s body hair.”

“I have stayed at this property before in the past(2025). They are currently putting a huge addition on, so I get that there’s a lot of dust. But the tops of all the furniture were covered in dust. Clearly the housekeepers didn’t wipe anything down! Not to mention there wasn’t any parking. I hope that next year 2027, they are cleaner. I like the location from spooky nook.”

“Very kid friendly. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. Breakfast options were tasty. The room was comfortable and the location is ideal.”
