Bed & BreakfastPosted Sep 26, 2015
We were encouraged to "upgrade" to their 2nd B&B. Was never told it was a 3 story and climbing 3 flights of stairs was not good for us being ages76 & 82! Could not carry luggage so removed clothes as needed from suitcase in car. Bath was nice. Room was small and no room to get out of bed on right side. Decor was really nice everywhere. breakfast, exceptional and beautifully presented. 3rd floor was a surprise and a negative, however. Insufficient parking also.

Victorian decorPosted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Nice decorations
Cons: More user friendly keying system
Location: Several good restaurants and bars.
Good location near 5 points. However, we were accosted by a panhandler demanding $15 while we were trying to enjoy sunset from porch of the facility. Key system is archaic, in that a regular metal key has to be used to unlock front door, then has to re used to relock the door after entry. I managed to loose this key and was charged an $80 fee for rekeying the door lock. The parking slots are very tight; I received considerable damage to my vehicle while trying to maneuver out after being blocked in by the kitchen maid's car.

Wow! Historically accurate and beautiful.Posted Aug 30, 2015
I was fortunate enough to stay at Cobb Lane Bed & Breakfast with a Professor of History, who said that the house, furnishings, and decor were very authentically Victorian. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast with Ira, one of the innkeepers. What a unique couple they are! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing BnBPosted Jul 14, 2015
I went to Birmingham for vacation and stayed at Cobb Lane BnB for 1 night and Hassinger Daniels Mansion BnB for 3 nights. It was AMAZING definitely. Really clean pretty room and all room have private bath room. These are around five points so it's easy to get some pubs and restaurants. And, manager Sheila and Ara are great. Even I can't speak English well, they were always listen to me and gave me a lot of kindness. I'm thinking to go to Birmingham again soon and I'll stay there again.:) Thank you so much.

A wonderful artistic experience.Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Friendly, beautiful, interesting. I love art so I was in my element and felt I was living in a picture. The hosts are really interesting and helpful.
Cons: Nothing. It is thoughtfully organized. Perhaps a little less fragrance on the bed linens but that is really minor.
Location: 5 Points is where it is at for me in Birmingham and you are right there. Botanical gardens, Art and Civil rights museums are very close.
Absolutely fabulous. Sheila and her husband are fascinating and welcoming. The house is beautiful and the location outstanding, literally 2 minutes walk from 5 Points South. Breakfast was delicious and the conversations around the table were memorable and interesting. The house is so cheerful and I felt I was in the middle of an art piece. The decoration on the meal table was like something out of a fairy story. This has been the been the best hotel experience I can ever remember and will certainly head there next time I am back in the area. Each room is different so you can have 10 totally different hotel experience here. The little kitchenette for guests was very helpful and parking easy.
