Excellent experience!!

The room was perfect for a weekend get away for me and my husband. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The room set up was spacious, yet very cozy, with a separate sitting area. The bed was a little too firm, but that is a personal preference, not that there was anything wrong with the bed itself. The hotel staff was great! Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. The breakfast they serve in the lobby was fantastic! Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and so much more than just a typical "continental" breakfast most hotels serve with cereal and pastries. We didn't use the indoor pool or workout center, but they looked well kept and clean. Highly recommend this hotel to any traveler or for a weekend get-away.

I was disappointed when I first walked in the hotel and several guests were right in the entry way smoking. When I got up to my room, it smelled musty and there were several stains on the carpet and on the bedding. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable. Our A/C unit went out after the first night so we were switched to another room. The staff was very nice and accommodating with he switch. The second room was about the same quality but less stains. There was a big light outside the bedroom door and the blackout curtains kept getting blown open by the fan so it was bright in there all night. The breakfast served in the morning was not good. My kids wouldn't even eat it and they eat everything! We didn't go back to breakfast after the first time. I don't think we'll go back to this hotel. It just wasn't a great stay.

We have taken care of this situation and be assured it wont happen again. We are new ownership and management and we are in the process of doing an update to this property. Please coma back and stay with us again.
