Convenient hotel to shopping, restaurants.

Pros: It was convenient to shopping centers, restaurants and attractions; while being affordable and comfortable.
Cons: The cleaning staff needs a checklist, so things like the coffee maker don't get overlooked.
Location: Adjacent to Galleria and Patton Creek Center (shopping/restaurants). Close to Hoover Met and other attractions, 1 hour from University of Alabama
Check in was good, nice staff. Room was clean and comfortable, but somewhat cramped. Good breakfast. Staff failed to clean coffee maker or replenish supplies when the room was cleaned after the first night.

Ok for price;area is great

Room was run down and older then surrounding places but the area was great surrounded by everything

Great value for the money

Stayed in 6 hotels in ten days. Days Inn had the best bed out of all the hotels some of which were major chain hotels.

Great neighborhood - room smelled bad

Room smelled of cigarette and was told it was from years gone by and that the room was for sure classified as a non-smoking room. It actually bothered our eyes it was so strong. Room 122.

It was OK, except for housekeeping walking in on my wife and I changing clothes. I told the staff, and she apologized, but it did not seem genuine.
