NEVER AGAIN!!!

it was horrible! the only nice things I can say about the room was there was a refrigerator and nice tv in the room. The carpet was nasty, there was paint missing from a good portion of the wall (inside), the lamp shades were torn up/had holes in them. the pillows were super flat (it was a full size bed so only came with 2 pillows) and the hotel had no extra. The phone was gross and grungy as was the laminated tv guide (which was sticky) but the worse thing by far was the mattress! When I went to check for bed bugs, I noticed the mattress was not only badly stained, but filthy and had burn holes in it!! and wile I didn't see any bed bugs, my daughter woke up the next morning with several bites on her arm (clustered, the way bed bug bites are described). the night time lady was very pleasant and did what she could, but her hands were tied. the management was not as nice the next morning, when I went to cancel my second night. I didn't get a wink of sleep. OH, and the continental breakfast didn't even have any fruit!!! just a selection of bread and some fruit loops cereal I choose this hotel for cost and location (2 blocks from the storeroom where we had my daughter's stuff for college, but never again!

Check in process took nearly two hours...very inconsiderate rude staff. Whom made unprofessional comments about the owners during the check in process while she continued to look around me and do other things....answer personals, talk to personal guest....take care of checking in hotel guest that walked in much later than I did. Ceiling leak in the lobby. The entire room smelled musty. Cigarette burns in blankets/sheets of what should of been a non smoking room. Bed felt like sleeping on a cardboard box. The bathroom vanity light didn't work. We were on provided one wash cloth and two towels for a double room with two double beds, 4 guest....2 adults and 2 children. The only reason we didn't ask for our money back and leave was due to the fact that it was MN and we were in a crunch and if check in took the amount of time it did I can only imagine what that process would've taken. You get what you pay for....too cheap....to good to be true.....that's what I get for trying to save a buck....in the middle of moving one out of state for college so thought that the extra $30 saved was a good idea....WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!................................................

Nice Hotel - Staff Accommodating!

Pros: The price was great.
Cons: Door key needed to be re-swiped 6 times.
The room was ok for the price - not far from downtown.
