Ok for the price

The staff was very nice. There is a strange smell in the hallway. The hotel is old and dated. The TV kept fading to a darker color. Tge walls are also thin, could hear the people in the next room. The bed was comfortable. For a short stay and cheap price is why I stayed here. Although I will spend a little more and stay somewhere else next time.

Clean and affordable hotel

Pros: Hotel was clean and suites were large.
Cons: Key cards not working on outside doors. Members of staff chastised us for bringing out little dog through the front as the side doors would not open.
Location: Red Mountain State Park, Downtown Birmingham, Birmingham Zoo.
Beautiful location with access to many recreational activities.

With the price of the room being soo reasonably. I was extremely surprised yet pleased with the cleanliness of this hotel. I would recommend it again

Room was nice - I had no issues; however other guests complained about your 420 guests - there was the odor in the halls. They also told of 14 cars that were broken into a week or so prior to my arriving and they said the hotel did nothing about it. I only needed a place to lay my head for a week - in hindsight, I may have booked a more costly hotel that provided breakfast -- they only provide coffee and a muffin or cheap granola bar -- and when the coffee is gone -- its gone - not available throughout the day Nice clean room with a kitchenette -- but you would have to provide your own accoutrements - coffee, coffee maker, etc. But I am jaded -- I am used to Embassy Suites and more upscale accommodations. If you are on a budget - not bad.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room
Location: Hotel a little hard to find.
Hotel was a little hard to find. I left at 6 am the next morning and no one was at the desk so left key in the room. PROBLEM: I was charged twice for the room. Expedia charged my credit card $53.21 and the hotel charged me $49.91 on the same credit card. Who will reimburse me?

Very nice hotel customers service was great..

Pros: Easy to find. Front desk employees are cool ..
Cons: There need to be a camera the lobby where you could put a TV on wall in the corner..so when people are waiting for early morning chech out we can seat
Location: I actually stay there to get away from where I am living now..
Nice hotel since the now they have new clean rooms an no bed bugs..only one thing I see that needs is the hot water is that hot feels warm..maybe that's just my skin..

great room.

this is a great hotel. all rooms have a kitchenette and they will provide you dishes and cookware if you ask at no additional charge. the rooms are quiet, clean, and comfy. I will definately be staying here again.

Clean, comfy, and cheap

This location was relatively near the major hospitals in the area. Price was great for an emergency situation. I was pleasantly surprised at this little jewel we found tucked away when we desparately needed a place to stay. We will use this hotel again.
