We stay here each time we pass through Alabama. The rooms are impeccable and there’s a brewery right across the parking lot. And, the hostess, Debbie, is so friendly and welcoming.

Property was close to many different restaurants, Walmart, mall etc..downside pool wasn't available for a couple of hours and had to ask front desk for towels was a lil downer....also the coffee in lobby was cold. In the room the shower had hair and a dirty towel left on shower head.

The property Decor was dated. It was obvious that our room had not been inspected by management in some time. The toilet paper roll holder is damaged and almost falling off the wall. The wall adjacent to the desk chair has been very marked up and scratched by the chair. The couch with the internal bed needs to be replaced.

The treadmill in the gym did not work. Elevator button on second floor did not work. Breakfast displayed as unappetizing. Management is allowing this property to decline. It is not consistent with Marriot standards.

I went down to get some hot tea and heard the check in employee screaming at a guest. I have no idea what provoked this behavior, but it was very unprofessional. The room was not as polished as rooms at other fairfield inns. Pillows were very small. Facility was under renovation but there were no signs. There were mattresses strewn in the parking lot instead of placed in the dumpster. Also the coffee was tepid at breakfast.

I was there 3 days and no house keeping was done. The beds were terrible. Hard has a brick. The lighting in the bathroom was so dim. Never again will I stay there.

They were replacing all the mattresses which was great, however, they were left in the hallway and in the staircases. They were sorta blocking emergency exits.

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The issue was the rooms. We were welcomed with a strong smell of mold, which was found in the bathroom. Our mattress was awful, and patch work in the wall was clear they’ve had damaged. We were the for a hockey tournament, so all rooms in the area were booked.

Unfortunately our room was on the second floor and the elevator was out. Apparently there had been a power outage, and the elevator had failed to reboot. The fellow manning the front desk offered to help carry our luggage up as soon as he had someone who could watch the front desk. This is an older proprty, judging from the furniture. However, it was absolutely immaculate. The breakfast was also excellent. The prefab omelet with cheese was surprisingly tasty. Finding it was a bit of a hassle but it clearly is popular. The hotel was full on a Tuesday night.

It honestly was a great stay for me, but it was really based on if my wife liked it, cause she’s every picky when it comes to getting a room, and from my understanding she had a great experience as well. So with that being said, we would most definitely go back again!

My sister & i stayed here to attend a concert at Oak Mountain Amphitheater. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the Amphitheater. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff went above and beyond.
