Good hotel to rest for your stay.

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: Room was clean nice sized and comfortable. We were in room 423, top floor, elevator worked well, it was nicely appointed.
Cons: Kitchen area floor needs steam cleaned, extremely sticky floor. Kitchen staff did not replenish bread/pastry items, cranberry juice was colored water.
Location: N/A, we were at family functions the entire time, did not do anything nearby.
Stayed for the weekend. In on Friday, left Sunday. Staff friendly, place clean, nicely appointed, modern, secure and good parking. We were going to a family function and Bessemer was between the airport and the location. Besides with the Alabama game, rooms were difficult to get. Room door lock needed fixed. You had to put the card key in, pull it out, push down on the handle, and hit the door hard with your other hand to open it. Went for breakfast, floor in the kitchen was so sticky, seemed like you had suction cups on your shoes, then you tracked it into the dining area and lobby. The bread/pastry trays were not replenished. When low, they were taken away and not replaced. They had waffles and scrambled eggs/fried potatoes, cereals, juice machine, a nice selection of food. Second day, egg & cheese omelets, sausage patties, and the floor was just as sticky. 4.4 is a fair rating. Other than the kitchen, the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again and recommend it to others, just find another place to eat your breakfast. There was a pool and gym, but we did not use them as out time was spent elsewhere. We mainly needed a place to sleep.

College Bound

Quick trip to help our student get moved for college. Hotel was great. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Beds were a little soft for our liking. Would definitely stay here again.

Good, solid hotel

Posted Jul 31, 2016 on Hotels
Overall, solid hotel. Great for a stopover in travel. A bit of wear and tear around the edges, but in a good location and feels safe and clean. I stopped here with my daughter and we had a great visit. Breakfast was okay, some hot options were nice.

Plan to Eat Breakfast Elsewhere

Posted Jul 23, 2016
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast, breakfast, breakfast.
Location: It was a very seedy area. I did not feel safe going out from the hotel to eat.
The staff was friendly, but the breakfast was horrible. The waffle machine did not work, the turkey breakfast links were cold and tasted nasty, and there was nothing else that make the breakfast anything for which a patron should look forward to eating.

Great place to stay, friendly helpful staff

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: Great staff, clean and quiet.
Cons: Not a thing.
Booked at the last minute, needed an inexpensive quick room to stay overnight on a long drive. Was very pleased with the choice. Quiet, very clean and the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The perfect place to stay the night.
