Vintage lovely
The place is quite big,has plenty of space if you go with family,it has a couple of parking spaces in front. The owner is so so nice,we even got a refund bc we left earlier than agreed.

The place needs an update. It was dirty and unkempt. There were wet stains on the ceiling and I was served mouldy bread at breakfast. I left after 2 of my 4 nights and they would not grant a refund. Stay clear, do not book.

We were made very welcome throughout the stay. The room was spacious and warm, adjustable heating. The beds were very comfortable, with spotless bedding and towels. There was plenty of hot water. The food was tasty and well presented, with multi choices. All in all an excellent place to stay, Solihull a surprising shopping destination. My friend even managed to get her booster jab at the walk in centre. A very enjoyable stay, thank you.

This place was just perfect for what I needed. Quiet area plenty of room to park a lovely couple that own it. Full cooked breakfast every morning even on a Sunday and bank holiday. Can't fault it. Will happily book this again. Thankyou

Well-located b&b
Good location for access into Solihull and easy route to/from M42. Room 3 (twin) spacious and good sized beds. Tea/coffee facilities- with fresh milk on arrival. Windows probably not optimally double glazed but traffic noise from A34 at 100yds away dropped considerably during the night. Good access to major chain restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast apparently from 7...probably more an aspiration on the morning I was there. Overall good value for the money.

Worth the stay
We enjoyed our stay here. It was in a nice area with nice people. The rooms are a little dated and in need of a couple of light bulbs but this place is value for money.

The B&B is fairly basic, but very clean. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. It is quite far from Solihull, but there is a bus service that runs every 30 mins and works well.

Warm Welcome and comfortable stay
Bernard and Maribelle are great hosts. They welcomed me with a drink of choice (the ale was good!) and were very welcoming. Room was comfortable and more space and independence than you'd normally find in an AirBnB for example, with all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel including fridge in the room and a good supply of bottled water, biscuits and coffee, The breakfast was great - I couldn't resist the cooked breakfast each morning. They even offered (at extra cost) a sandwich making service so I wouldn't have to waste time away from my stand at the NEC. Friendly and with a very dosile and affectionate dog.

Lovely
The lodge was a lovely and comfortable place to stay. The owners were attentative and helpful and our room was just what we were looking for. We stayed in the En Suite room and it had everything we needed. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and we really enjoyed it. They also have a beautiful friendly family dog! All in all this was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have experienced! And the owners deserve lots of praise!

B&B in Monkspath
Owners Bernard and Maribelle were gems. Food was always great and they were very helpful with taxis and recommendations on sites to visit . The Home is a bit creaky and walls can be thin, but the B&B is very well located and ideal if you want more of a family atmosphere . Great place to stay if you're traveling alone .

Meet with a dog at the dopr not the host ..then asked the owner could he ring a taxi for us for the morning and we got a no and some stupid excuse notvery helpful atal and wont go back near the place or recomend it

Ideal B&B to use as a business stop over.
Wifi connection in my room was very good. Friendly staff who cook a great breakfast. Cereal and fruit also available. Shower in room very easy to use and bed was comfortable.

Well priced and great value
The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Rooms were clean and spacious and very warm as it was freezing when we visited. It was also in a very quiet location but only 3 minutes drive from the motorway which was great as we were visiting the NEC only 8 miles away. The Dog was fabulous and so friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Well worth the money.

I couldn't get the room i reserved but ended up with a bigger room with two beds. It was quite interesting as i had to decide which bed to sleep in. Overall the hostess apologized for the error and everything was fine. I will be back definitely

Family owned guest house with good service
It is a family run hotel and I found their service to be warm.
