Pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was and had everything we needed. Breakfast was particularly good with so many options and I was pleased it wasn’t a standard crappy hotel breakfast that has become the norm for big chains. Great hotel and would stay again. The only downside was that the parking was supposed to be £15 so I was shocked to checkout and see a bill for £30 for staying less than 24hr!

Nice hotel, very large. They tried to put me in a single bedded room and charge me additionally for breakfast upon arrival although I had paid for a king bed room with breakfast included. I had to query the booking. I didn’t really find this good service.

Freezing cold room - I thought a window was open but it wasn't . There was a mini plug in heater but you wouldn't want to have that switched on whilst asleep. Room service option virtually non existent, 4 options and very poor quality for the price. Staff very pleasant and rooms and area very clean. There are other hotels in the area I would choose next time.

It was no better than a Travelodge. In fact I have stayed at better and cleaner Travelodges. Food was poor-frozen chips is not what you expect from a Hilton Hotel. Breakfast was a little better with a fairly good selection but a perfect example of how to murder mushrooms. Would not stay again.

I had stayed at this hotel previously and was very happy but this time they gave us a room that was sharing a wall with the lifts and the constant noise of lifts going up and down was unbearable. We asked for another room and they gave us the one next to where we were and you could still hear it but the main problem there was the windows were old and fitted very poorly and there was a very noticeable cold draft all night and the noise isolation was not there at all. I will probably stay there again because it is sooo convenient for NEC but I will request a room as far away from the lifts as possible.

A disappointing stay.
Unfortunately i felt that this hotel did not live up to the Hilton standard. We arrived late afternoon and found that we needed to wait 20 minutes to check in, the line of people wanting to check in was long. On check in, we were not informed that the restaurant was closed due to a private function, and found that we could only eat at the bar together with 200 other guests. This automatically brings the standard down, as the staff could not professionally cope. We ended up leaving and walking 500m down to another hotel to eat. The rooms were large and comfortable, but the bathroom was ridiculously small (talk about swinging a cat here you couldn't even swing a toothbrush). The shower had old difficult to align taps, meaning that the shower was either to hot or to cold. Overall a very average stay, quite disappointing for a Hilton

Lovely overnight stay as a birthday treat after dropping daughter back at university. Enjoyed the use of the executive lounge. Lovely comfortable bed and well equipped room.

Large corporate feel
Nice hotel in good position. Very busy, very noisey too. Bar prices are high as expected with hotels but quality of drinks on draught were poor. Obscure brands. Good hotel for stop offs and shopping but not a couples retreat etc.

Phone was broken, my daughter went and told them, nothing done so couldn’t order room service from phone, my daughter went and bought drinks up hotel bought food and was still charged room service, flushing the toilet in the morning and water poured through bath drain from toilet, for a Hilton hotel and the price of 195 for one night, I expected more. Travel lodge next time fir me.

Huge christmas party going on, no sleep due to shouting and banging til the ealry hours. Drunk guys inappropriately commented about my teenage daughter, the staff not helpful and when I raised an email complaint, I got an apology only! Premium price for a below-budget hotel

Great location - An underwhelming stay.
Nice staff, easy check-in service. The room was okay, but expected more for a four-star hotel. Very dated especially in corridors, also found a fake eyelash on the floor of the room, sign that the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly or attentively. Various things in bathroom could have been restocked like pad bags, tissues, lotions etc. Heating reading reviews is a common issue to get working efficiently but once we got it working it was okay. Room service HORRENDOUS do not recommend. Overpriced and underwhelming, the equivalent of pub food. £19 for Vegan Fish & Chips is a ripoff. My boyfriend's food was raw. Thankfully lovely staff removed the charge of the food from bill. But for a four-star hotel we expected a lot better. Spa facilities are not included and require an extra charge for a four-star hotel do not find acceptable. Even if they are separate companies that needs to be signposted better. 90mins for £10 for use of facilities is a bit meh. Also, the spa facilities require as much refurbishment as everywhere else in the hotel. For roughly £400 for three nights, we expected at least a robe in the room. Not worth the price tag. The king-size bed was at least comfortable. We also feel accessing information regarding room service and other amenities needs to be more accessible in the room as well. Overall I would rate this hotel three stars and it is only because of the name of the hotel it gets away with such overpricing. Convenient location but an underwhelming stay.

Ideal for my trip to resort world. However check in took forever, the queue snaked the whole way around reception and half way up the corridor. Luckily the receptionist was apologetic and very helpful. The room was a disappointment; the heating didn't work so it was freezing when I got in there. A small heater had been provided which soon warmed up the half of the room it was in, but a draft blowing through the wall vents was so bad I had to put the spare quilt in front of the lower one and pile two pillows on top of the lamp to block the higher one!!! Considering it cost £166, I was not impressed.

A "ringing" review
After avoiding Hilton's for a while I was unfortunately reminded of why. A repeating failing fire alarm that sounded every 15 minutes or so for close to 3 hours. Peaking with a wake up call just after midnight wasn't excatly expected. This was only then further soured by the response from the lady on reception who was far from understanding and quite frankly unnecessarily rude and rash. On a more positive note the hotel was clean, and is quite impressive and the young bar staf (who were serving a very large party at the same time) were very pleasant.

Reception staff welcoming and efficient. Bedroom well fitted out with comfortable bed. Bathroom adequate. Restaurant very disappointing. Fast food based menu i.e. burgers pizzas and pastas. Very basic and unimaginative My chicken breast was very watery in consistency (probably should have been cooked longer). Service was very poor. I was sitting near the till and there seemed to be problems sorting out bills plus one family came to ask what happened to their food as they had been waiting so long. Wine prices high for very ordinary white wines - served at room temperature. Breakfast okay. Location very convenient only 10 minutes walk from Hall five and flexible on-site parking so would stay there again if attending the same event but would make sure I ate before arrival

What was positive…..Close to resorts world and NEC. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and very tasty. Reception area and bar was nice. What wasn’t so good. Checked into room at 3pm and bed had no sheets or duvet. Had to wait to nearly 4pm for them to come up and sort out. The stairwell to the rooms was more reminiscent of an NCP car park than a hotel. Concrete floor with no carpet, which I’ve never seen before anywhere. Fire alarm at 11pm, which although not the staffs fault was somewhat inconvenient.
