Good hotel, okay service

We booked our hotel a few days out because of high travel and everything was sold out last time. I called the hotel to confirm it the day of and the guy was all up in arms because they were all booked and didn't know how we made a reservation. He was very rude. I also called back later in the evening to give them an estimated time and the same thing happened. No customer service via the phone. Both times I was also abruptly hung up on. We had to stay there because everything was full. The hotel overall was good though, clean, good location, and easy breakfast in the morning. The staff just needs a little extra in their service.
