I have stayed in this hotel on three occasions, and regrettably, my recent stay was the least satisfactory of them all. While trying to sleep, I experienced an immediate discomfort to my respiratory tract, likely due to allergens such as pet dander lingering in the air. This resulted in prolonged coughing spells that persisted for several hours. Throughout the night, I was disturbed by numerous unusual sounds emanating from within the hotel premises, making it challenging to attain a peaceful night’s sleep. Also, the shower head was continuously dripping, which added to the inconvenience and discomfort experienced during my stay. The rooms need to be renovated and refurbished to uphold the expected standards of comfort and aesthetics. I encountered an unfortunate incident with the front desk employee, who failed to acknowledge my Hilton Honors member status, attributing it to my booking through a third-party site. This discrepancy was surprising, as it had never posed an issue during prior stays. Even more disheartening was the lack of attentiveness displayed by the staff when I voiced my concerns regarding the aforementioned issues. Despite bringing them to their attention, they failed to document or address them adequately.

The rooms were worn out and/or poorly maintained. The bathtub faucet was running even with the faucet cranked shut. The faucet spigot was separated from the shower wall by an inch. The security bar on the door was missing a pin, making it loose. The bathroom garbage can was missing. The staff and lobby areas were nice, and the employees were nice.

Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and quality of the compound. On the other hand the cost of having a pet was higher than any other place we’ve stayed. Regardless we will go back.

The location was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly. The only real issue I had was the microwave in my suite decided it needed a service call at 4:30 am. It proceeded to beep about every 45 seconds after that. I FINALLY got it to stop, but it was time to get up by then.

We enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites in Hoover, AL. The room was beautiful and spacious. The shower was huge and comforting, the kitchen was efficient and clean. Very nice place to stay! They even had a free beer and wine happy hour in the lobby.👍👍👍

This property was perfect for our family of 5; we selected the 1 king bed, 2 queen bed suite. I was surprised to find that this unit had 2 full bathrooms!! The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

What I liked: The suite was large, the beds were very comfortable,and they offered a free breakfast. What I didn't like: Dust on TV stands and dressers, exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work, stains on chairs and couch, elevator was SO SLOW!!

Our room was clean and neat. We were traveling from the north so it was nice to get through Birmingham early evening, stayed and then leave in the morning to go further southeast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again

Very clean nice room. Plenty of room, with a couch, kitchen and full sized refrigerator. Minor quibbles for me are the pillows are very soft feather type, which my wife likes but not me. I never asked if they had firm pillows so they may upon request. Great coffee!
