budget hotel.Posted Feb 18, 2018
The hotel was too far from train station and a lonely walk. Not good for a disabled person. Given one flat pillow to sleep on. Bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Unable to open window. Couldn’t wait to get home after two nights with no sleep. Free coffee/ tea facilities were excellent.

Nice clean hotel next to the centre/ train stationPosted Feb 16, 2018
Pros: Clean and the staff nice
Cons: More collections for breakfast
The double bed was nice and comfortable, but the single bed , its was a sofa bed uncomfortable to sleep in, the breakfast was a disappointment, no cooked breakfast, no fresh juice, its not worth paying £5.5 for just coffee from the machine. :(

Dusty roomPosted Feb 15, 2018
Pros: Location is good. Complementary breakfast (Note: continental not English) is a good factor and have a decent space for the restaurant.
Cons: Cleanliness, customer service of Front Office and Housekeeping team.
Location: A bit tricky to find the location but close to shops and restaurants.
The room is quite dusty and the bed sheet dirty, apparently not changed. Continental breakfast is OK but glasses are a bit smelly. The cleaner looked unhappy as she could not clean it as early as possible before the check out time. Customer service is a little lower than a standard it should have. But, in the end, you get what you pay for.

Convenient for Birmingham CityPosted Feb 15, 2018
Cons: I wish it did a full English Breakfast included in the room price instead of just a continental breakfast.
Location: Near Birmingham City Centre
Pleasant room with continental Breakfast. I would stay again.

Dropped off bags without problem, when checked in hours later no issues. Room good, ideal for one night stay. Pillows bit lumpy but OK. Breakfast great. Would stay again.

good value central hotelPosted Feb 12, 2018
Pros: Clean and friendly good location.
Cons: better wifi (that works and is easier to login). better coffee. Chilled yogurts, cheese and meats. More choice at breakfast. more pastries and meats.
Location: good location, close to town center. Visited think tank museum which was a 25min walk.
check in was good. Room was clean and warm. Cot was in there like we requested. We couldn't get the wifi to work, it was through some weird O2 system rather than proper wifi and had an arduous login procedure that didn't seem to work, its supposed to send an SMS with a code which you then apply during login in your tablet or phone, but invariably the SMS never arrives and when it does the code doesn't work it just shows an error. Had this on Android and iphones and galaxy tablets. Gave up in the end. Lucky we had already downloaded some netflix movies. Wasn't expecting much from breakfast but it was only just ok. The cheese, meats and yogurts weren't really chilled properly and their wasn't much to choose from. The coffee wasn't great. Cereal and toast was ok though. The hotel was clean, warm and fairly modern though and was situated close to a convenient reasonably priced car park, paradise circus, and close to town center (10 min walk).

The hotel was in easy reach of the town centre.Posted Feb 11, 2018
Pros: Friendly staff on reception.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic and did not have much choice for specialist diets, e.g. gluten free
We chose the hotel because we had a conference in the centre of town and the hotel was very conveniently located. We received a very friendly welcome at reception and the check in was very easy. The room was clean and tidy and met all of our needs.
