Got in late, called in advance to tell them we'd be late and they gave our room away anyway. Only had a smoking room left. Walked in and the window was wide open, no screen. Hello bugs of Birmingham. Used the bathroom to find the toilet wouldnt flush. Was woken up at 4am by the room next door smoking like a freight train. Ahhhhhh, now I know why the window was open. Cigarette smoke made me sick to my stomach and had to use a toilet that wouldnt flush. After giving up on sleeping and getting up to take a shower, find out the lever that pulls up to start the shower doesnt work. Used the ice bucket to fill up with water to take something like a shower but not really like a shower. At this point we just cracked up laughing because crying would have ruined the nice shower I just had. Spoke to management and their reply was were so sorry, here is $20 off your bill. Hmmm, keep the $20 and fix the shower and the toilet with it. Thanks but no thanks. Remind me next time to sleep in my car. I can take the same kind of shower in the gas station bathroom.
