What a great place to stay. With a van to park, Carol moved their pick-up & then welcomed me 'almost' with open arms, lots of help & advice. Great breakfast.

3-day stay during NEC eventPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Its proximity to the NEC (20 minutes), attention to detail, breakfast, comfortable beds, peace and quiet.
Cons: Nothing, it's perfect.
Location: Nice pubs and beautiful countryside.
I stayed at Langley Cottage with a colleague during a 3-day event at the NEC in Birmingham. Wanting to get away from the corporate hustle and bustle in the evenings, Langley Cottage offered a haven of tranquility. Carol and John were the perfect hosts bending over backwards to tend to all our needs. The guesthouse is kept immaculately clean, the garden is beautiful, there is ample parking for several cars and our large van. The rooms were extremely well decorated, clean and comfortable and a large breakfast was lovingly prepared each morning by Carol. It really felt like a home away from home...

Clean, friendly B&BPosted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
Friendly, pleasant hosts, clean, well equipped room and a great breakfast. If you're visiting the NEC, book a taxi to get to the B&B because it's further than you think and the official cabs are twice the price of a minicab. No phone signal if you want to get any work done, but that suited me this time!
