All I wanted was a quiet relaxing night away, what I ended up with was the opposite. On arrival I was told about the £5 parking fee which to me is a joke. I was given my room which when I entered had clearly been used and not cleaned since the last guest. So back to reception I went and was given a second room which was fine and without problem. So at just after 11pm I was woken up by to 2 others guest entering my room and switching the light on. I called out that the room was taken and they retreated. I'm guessing my room was given accidentally to them but in my opinion this is unacceptable. So I then tried to go back to sleep untill around 11.20 pm when the lady from reception was then knocking on my door. When I answered the door she wanted to know what my name was??????? Really!!!!!!!! Still dont what that was about. Eventually I got back off to sleep. At around 6am the following morning I was again woken by other doors being knocked on and constantly doors being opened and shut for about half an hour. It sounded like a coach party that needed to leave early. When i checked out I mentioned the events from the night before and the staff were apologetic but it didn't solve the ruined stay. I won't be back.

A welcome return to a bit more reality
We had a lovely stay the young man on reception called Chris was so helpful and professional he was a proper Gentleman. The only down side is charging 5.00 per night reg parking can understand it for 1 night but not if your stay is longer.

Nice hotei, spoilt by a party arriving in around fifteen cars arriving at 9.00pm, kids turned the car park into a scooter park, its meant for parking cars not a playground, parents no control over them, cars were just parked all over the place includeing blocking other residents in. All social distancing rules were disregarded by this group and no masks worn by adults while in hotel. The good points, receptionist very helpful, very clean rooms , comfortable bed, plenty of towels and tea coffee etc

This hotel is very dog friendly and the one small thing that was a problem in the room was fixed quickly once I reported it. If you are a light sleeper do not have a room overlooking the front car park as the road is very noisy.

Hotel newly decorated, clean and tidy, a good sized twin room with comfortable beds. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant served by very friendly staff. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. Convenient location for NEC. Couldn’t fault our stay.

Not the same as my earlier stays.
This was my third stay at this hotel. I had a shock when checking in as I had to pay parking fees for the duration of my stay. (What was that all about). Also my wife doesn’t do breakfast and the last two stays I paid a separate price for continental breakfast for her. However this stay a full English and continental were the same price. A little steep for coffee and toast. Our room was clean,bed was comfy. However there was a smell in our room which smelt like drains. The receptionist said a engineer wasn’t available until Monday. The cleaner sprayed our carpet with air freshener. Which helped masked the smell.
