paid for them being unclean

The room that was booked for me was very unsatisfactory. I got help from room service to help find another room before I went back to the desk. She was very helpful ,but after a long walk between 3 stories and multiple flights of stairs, carrying bags,the only one that matched the room I originally booked,was not ready and also unsatisfactory. We finally found a room that matched the amenities of my original booking. It was renovated but clean. I let the front desk know the issue I had, and she said that the room we found was renovated and it will cost me 25 extra dollars. I paid it in cash, but I said and thought that was kind of unfair, because the room I was booked was unclean, the comforter had lumps in them, the toilet had multiple rings of dirt, the shower had mold, the walls were chipped and dirty ,the refrigerator also had mold where the eggs should go, it was a portable heater beside the air conditioning unit that let me know that it was probably not working correctly and bulbs were missing from the lamps (also from the new renovated room bulbs were missing)and in the morning I ended up being woken up by buzz saws from construction.
