Over the stay was great. First time but won’t be our last. My only issue was the smell from the garbage disposal in the rooms kitchen area. Other than that it was very clean, very well maintained and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Especially ms. keke. Also I give a bonus compliment for having a full coffee bar with hazelnut creamer and not just half&half. Thanks again for the stay!

The room was set up nice, but the bedside tables were dusty, and the shower floor was stained, or I would say “dirty.” The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, but it wasn’t terrible; continental with an addition of powdered eggs and Turkey sausage.

The property is very lovely and close to UAB medical facilities. I did not see on Expedia where it said there would be a $23 daily parking fee, so that was the only disappointment.

Pros: -The location was great and the staff were very nice. -The room as very spacious and mostly clean. Cons: -The bathroom needed more cleaning. There was gooey residue inside the drawers and the shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned from the previous stay. -There was no safe in the room. -We had to pay $23, plus tax & fees for parking, which was not disclosed on the room listing for Expedia. -They sold more parking permits than the spaces they had available. When we came in from a concert around midnight, we had to find parking on the street. I didn’t feel as safe parking and leaving my vehicle out there. Another person arriving then had the same problem. -We returned the parking permit and were told that the parking fees were taken off our reservation; however, when we went to checkout, they had not been removed.

Friendly staff but upon arriving we were told we would have to pay ANOTHER $23 plus tax for parking which was never disclosed and ridiculous. We would have never stayed there if we knew this ahead of time. Hotel itself was nice, staff was nice, this fee was ridiculous

First at all, construction were in the building. It was so loud in the morning, plus the cleaning ppl were loud. Parking was a nightmare, it was a upcharge, u had to park at the construction sude, bext to the dumpster. It was not safe at all at night. A guy supose to walk my daughter to the vehicle and back to the hotel. He didn't care to. The breakfast is not continually ar all, full with gluten and sodium. Overprosessed food. After a concert.in Birmingham we felt not safe, shower had hair all over. The bed was very comfy. House slipper, robe or shower slipper are recommended. I do know.the shower was not cleaned.

My room had a huge wet spot on the carpet when we checked in and my room had a bad chemical smell upon entering. We told them about the wet spot when we checked in and they said they would send someone. We told them again the next day and they finally sent someone. The gym was missing equipment. And for the price I paid for rooms, parking should be included. Parking was $23 per night plus tax. The staff we had interactions with were very friendly so they do have that going for them.

There was a shooting in the hotel two weeks before I arrived but mostly it seemed safe inside. Supposedly it was recently renovated, but I saw no signs of that. The accommodations were good, for the most part, although the kitchen lacked any cups or dishes. Weird light switches that sometimes flick down and sometimes up. Had to keep fiddling with the thermostat to find a comfortable temperature that was neither too cold nor too hot. The breakfast buffet is horrible. Inedible, really. Still, a decent value for the money.

The property was under construction. There was debris everywhere. The staff did not follow through on getting our room ready in a timely fashion or contacting us once it was ready. The next morning we noticed the bottom bed sheet was dirty.

We really liked the hotel and staff. The only issue was that the hotel is undergoing renovations. Noisy during the day and we only had one small trash can in the bathroom. We had the kitchen suite. No trash cans on our floor either.

Overall the room was clean and furnished. Only issue I found was some empty beer cans in a kitchen cabinet. No biggie I just tossed them in the trash. They were in the middle of a remodel of the lobby so it was dusty. The front desk staff was great, polite and accommodating. I would recommend. Walking distance to UAB and the Children’s hospital. Several food choices close by too.

Under construction to say the least! Mouse feces in the cabinet. Cold water in the shower. The cable boxes and wires all fell out under the tv and were hanging above the fireplace. There was salt on the counter as if someone just ate there. No we’re to park because the lot is covered in construction materials. Nowhere to eat because that also was under construction. It was horrible.

Awesome, But
My stay was awesome. However, I have stayed at this location many times in the past. I do not like the fact you have to pay for parking now. Please reconsider the parking fee, especially in the past there has never been enough parking.

New, clean rooms with all the necessary items except hand soap. Construction elevator seemed to be the only elevator working upon arrival but understandable due to ongoing renovations. Like the late check out time. Good stay.
