Traveling with a "Service Dog"!
Posted Oct 13, 2015
We book this hotel last minute traveling from Florida for the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Weekend. For people with real service dogs you must have your Government Issued ID stating your service dogs breed, name & type of service it provides not to be charged the pet fee. I think that it is GREAT that they check for that because of all the "FAKE SERVICE DOGS" that people try and pass off just to travel with their pets and bring them into restaurants!!! Once we checked in at 2am everything went great! The rooms are a little dated. But the beds are very big and have super nice comfortable mattresses!! The same quality that I have experienced staying at the Plaza in NY! I didn't need the kitchenette in the room but we ended up using it, surprisingly . I think I'll look for rooms with them for now on! The room was quiet and we didn't hear any other people in their rooms even though the hotel was booked solid! The morning breakfast was very good! It changed daily too so you didn't have to eat the same thing over and over and over every morning. They have the standards every day, like the self made waffles, cereals, eggs, and all type of bakery products. Then you have the Sausages, biscuits & gravy, roasted potatoes with peppers, ham slices and so on! The drink selection is very good to. Free milk cartons, all type of juices, coffees and bottles of water all free! The fruit selection is very good to! Just a pleasure, better than other hotels in the area!! Stay & Enjoy!
