This hotel is excellent from the minute you arrive. The welcome from staff is exceptional. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and are spotless. The restaurant was fantastic. The gym and spa have all the necessary facilities. Definitely will be returning and thank all the staff for making the stay great

We were given a warm welcome in the modern reception. Our room was spacious and seemed to have been recently refurbished. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening, where the food was well presented, a generous portion and very tasty. The food at breakfast was also plentiful and excellent, with a large selection to choose from.However the cafetière of coffee was served lukewarm. Although the bedroom was spacious, it was not particularly well designed, with limited wardrobe space and an extremely small basin, even though there was plenty of opportunity to create a better surround. The car park is a bonus; although there is a daily charge

Terrible stay! We were given room 251 which must of been positioned directly next to some sort or pump or A/C unit as we had no sleep all night from the noise! Shower area was filthy with mould in the grout lines of the tiles and around the silicone bead! There was no soap just and empty bottle immediately after check in! Restaurant wasn’t much better, ordered a sirloin steak which would the tough and full of gristle! Definitely wouldn’t recommend!

Nice hotel very well appointed rooms and guest areas, pool and hot tub great. Check in not great asked for credit card details when checking in rather than pay on the terminal. Evening meal and breakfast excellent.

Christmas
Receptionist was very nice and cheerful considering we checked in late on Christmas Day. Unfortunately we had to stay on the far side of the hotel as there were no double rooms available on the side where the amenities were. Fortunately we upgraded because of this. Room was clean and very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities along with iron and ironing board. Large ish tv on the wall though channels need updating. Bathroom was clean. We had a drink at the bar which was open until 2am. Prices were on the high side. We booked breakfast which is a buffet. Only scrambled eggs are available on the counter but you can get fried or poached on request.

Staff were good but we were not informed there was a Christmas event in the hotel. Our room was situated in the area of the building above the event and there was very loud music and noise until after midnight. Subsequently following this there were several people loudly entering their rooms on the floor we were staying on until around 3am. Sleep was poor due to this and couldn’t open a window due to noise. Would have liked to have been informed about the event as this would have impacted my decision to book a room at the hotel.

Good for business trip
Hotel was in a good location and had excellent facilities. The room was a good size and bed comfortable. The floor wasn't the cleanest though and the bathroom a little run down. These were the only negatives though. Breakfast was good.

Great stay!
The whole experience was amazing. Shanelle at check in was so lovely and took no time in getting me checked in swiftly. She was lovely and welcoming to me. I had a lovely stay for an NHS Christmas party. The room was amazing and the bed was so comfy, it was like sleeping on a cloud!

Lovely hotel, great rooms and brilliant friendly staff. The leisure club is a bit of a let down compared to the rest of the hotel, a bit tired and in need of modernisation by comparison to the rest of the hotel. However, overall great value and I’d stay again.

Check in was slow as they had a wedding party in but staff very friendly and efficient with great customer service. Room on the cold side when we first got there but was quickly sorted out. Lovely pool area and breakfast first class. Received text message from reception to see if things were ok and request for extra milk and coffee was dealt with quickly. Would recommend

Great rooms and amazing showers. I stayed when they had a function on and the staff especially in reception were inundated. However, they still managed to give you amazing service and make you feel as if you were the only guest in the hotel!!!

One night, not business for a change!
One night stay at the hotel to visit family locally and go to the fireworks for our anniversary. First room was cold and offered an alternative but no better. Put heating on and went out for an hour or so and room was warmer on returning. Had offered us a heater but it didn't materialise. Weren't told in any information there would be a charge to park the car £10 for 24 hours. Spa facilities were good, pool isn't as big as the photos appear to show it, but there is a hot tub not shown in photos, plus sauna and steam room. Area is really good for bars, restaurants and shops. Most of staff very pleasant. Receptionist was a little short with us about wanting a slightly later check out because we wanted to invite our family to enjoy the facilities (at understandably an extra charge). We asked 'too late' and she wanted £10 for one extra hour. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food.

Great room
Stayed one night and the room was fantastic, clean, spacious, with very comfortable bed. Service at the reception at check in was great. Shanell was very friendly and made the check in experience very pleasant. Express checkout was a nice touch when you are in rush and cannot wait in the queue. I did not use any of the facilities e.g. gym, bar and fid not have an evening meal in the hotel so cannot comment on that

Other than a slight odour in one of the two rooms when we first arrived, the stay was great. The staff are amazing, particularly Valentina on check-in who dealt amazingly with a very cagey guest. Equally welcoming at checkout was another brilliant staff member whose name I didn't quite catch. Breakfast was a decent selection, overall good rather than brilliant.
