Nice hotel, excellent staff!!

Pros: The hotel is located in a quite zone, 10 minutes drive from the airport, nearby hospitals and very good restaurants.
Location: Really nice restaurants and places to have a good time, but at the same time, a quiet place
Kevin, the shuttle person, Stephanie Maw at the front desk, the maintenance guy, who help me with a smile, with my puppy "accidents", the room service, the housekeepers, they all make this experience a great one. Stephanie and Kevin specially, make my days easier, and I felt confident with them. The extra mile is in their veins!! This kind of employees are the ones that makes the difference. I congratulate you because you have them in your staff!!

located close to my mtg. Worker out very well.

Pros: close to location of my seminar
I drove right up to front door for check-in. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional receptionist, who got us checked in and off to our room in a very timely manner.

Decent hotel in the center of Bismark

Decent hotel within easy walking distance to restaurants and the old train depot. Fairly large hotel with a restaurant and other amenities..

Staff at front desk need lessons on etiquette.

The room was adequate enough - typical middle-of-the-road Radisson. But the staff member at the front desk needs some tips on addressing guests. She had a lip-ring piercing which I thought looked unprofessional for a Radisson. But that notwithstanding, she twice referred to me as "this guy" when asking her colleague questions...didn't appreciate that. The colleague seemed perturbed and the reception was far from welcoming.

Beds are too high for short people.

Pros: It's location was close to the hospital.
Cons: Some of the rooms could have shorter beds for those people who are too short to get onto the ones they currently have.
Location: I was there for surgery and did go anywhere in the area.
I'm five feet tall and I needed a stool to get onto the bed. The hotel was clean and the people were helpful. The parking garage was free but the turning radius was very tight for anything bigger than a car.

Not what I expected

Pros: Location and free parking
Cons: A lot. It needs a serious upgrade, cable doesn't work, panels on heating until fell off, and the carpet was gross.

It's been many years since I've stayed at this hotel and I was disappointed. I got into my room and the air conditioning was on full blast (it's March in ND). As soon as I turned the heat on, the front panel on the heating/air until fell off. The carpet was stained and felt wet. The bathroom was in fair to good condition. And after messing with the TV for a good 15-20 minutes I still could not get the cable to work. Could I have called the front desk? Yes, but I was traveling alone and wasn't comfortable calling the two men that were manning the front desk. I ordered room service, and the food was good, but to my dismay they gave me a used mustard.
