Not-so-graceful aging at this property

Pros: Hot tub, breakfast selection and hours, quiet, staff were dedicated.
Cons: Room furnishings, and wet spot in hall that lasted over 24 hours.
Location: Middle of nowhere - hard to walk to restaurants, shopping distant, close to I94.
Bathtub and sink drains were plugged. Light-coloured sofa desperately in need of cleaning. "Office chair" showed DECADES of wear . . . ceramic floor tiles in bathroom were loose. On the plus side: good selection of pastries and hot food for breakfast, hotel was quiet, hot tub timer actually worked (and you could select 2,5,10 or 15 minutes - a unique feature), pool was open until midnight, HVAC system worked well.

easy access and pet friendly

The staff was so friendly and helpful and they were so nice to my dog! The manager was great and gave me lots of extra information. They made me feel welcome - even traveling with a large dog.

Pros: Location is good, quite, breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Have phones that work
Being picky, but No soap or shampoo in the room, (2) telephones and both don't work, there's goes the wake up call, I know everything is cell phones now, but why have them in the room if they don't work.

The room was hit n stuffy. The air condition disnt work. Told hotel staff but nothing was done. When housekeepers came in the touched and removed personal belogings from bed and different areas of the room. Also remvoed all belongings from room because check out was at 11 and I didnt get back to room till 1130.

I like the location

Pros: Location
Cons: Fix the problem areas that I listed in previous about experience.
Location: Good location, near interstate and expressway.
Everything was good except for some days when spa was closed because of contamination, bacteria problem (didn't go in there anymore)! Towel rack was broken, toilet seat was installed incorrectly, crooked, shower curtain pole,rod was broken so bottom of shower curtain was always wet and smelled bad whenever you were in the shower.

Impossible to work with-never saw a room

I booked a reservation online. Once we traveled there, it became quickly apparent that I had booked it for the wrong date. We called both expedia and went to the hotel to own up to my mistake and ask if I could just "pay the difference." Expedia went out of their way to advocate for us, but the hotel staff was unaccomodating, and the manager refused to call us back to simply even answer our question. My husband tried for days to call, eventually he did speak to the manager who was quite rude. Bottom line, we lost our money and had no where to stay. We travel frequently and I have never encountered such a level of unprofessionalism as I did with this staff. As you can imagine, this post is a summary and does not even begin to describe the true nature of the 2 staff members we ( and expedia) tried to work with. Big shout out to Expedia staff though! They went above and beyond in advocating for us.

Don't do it

Pros: Front desk lady was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Needs thorough cleaning - everywhere.
Location: There was a large convenience store and a lounge across the road with friendly staff.
I'll start with positives - reception lady was great, friendly, helpful, best part of experience. The remote was dirty-had a red short n curly sticking out of it, the mattress cover slipped off the corner in the middle of the night and exposed large brown stains that I think my face touched (ewww...). The windowsill were muddy. I was not expecting anything fancy - just a clean room for the night. I was disappointed and I may have got pink eye.

Nice hotel

Liked staying off the main road, it was very quiet. Only a short drive to malls and restaurants. Breakfast provided was just great. Rooms were a little dated, but clean. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful! We will definately stay here again and recommend to others.

Smells

I did not like the smell in the motel & in the room. It smelled so bad I had to leave & get a different motel as you would know because I booked it with you again I would never stay there again.

Nice hotel but out of the way.

Pros: Lots of space in the rooms, the rate and breakfast was good
Location: Location is not close to restaurants or amenities.
Nice hotel, no amenities near by and to many pets. It is a pet hotel but when there is more pets than people a little much and especially in the breakfast area.
