Close to family and town

Posted Dec 7, 2017
Location: you are less than 2 blocks from downtown Blackfoot. There are fast food restaurants along with WalMart across the street.
I have stayed at this property usually one a year while visiting my family that lives in Pingree. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You can have a complimentary breakfast of coffee, juice, cocoa, yogurt, fruit, cold cereal or waffles..

Close to the highway.

No shower pressure, bed was hard as a rock, no microwave, or mini fridge. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Not again.

The room was VERY clean and nice, but the doors are paper thin, housekeeping pounded on all the doors at 9:30am for cleaning (on a Sunday morning!) and they stood 3 doors down from our door and had a loud gossip session that woke us up. We won't go back.

Good room lousy breakfast and location

Posted Sep 22, 2017 on Hotels
Good room lousy area not easy to walk anywhere from here. Worst breakfast presentation ever. Poor coffee plastic plates and plastic food. Be better off just presenting good coffee and not bothering with food.

Economical, clean, restful. Windows really open!

Very basic. Coffee maker malfunctioned, but there was coffee downstairs in breakfast area. No big deal. Had a good rest.

way too expensive for the quality of the room

Really felt like the hotel was too expensive and they jacked up the prices for the night we were there.

friendly and convenient motel

Posted Aug 24, 2017 on Hotels
The service at the Super 8, Blackfoot is great, very friendly and helpful. The motel is conveniently close to a large supermarket, several restaurants, and gas stations. It also includes free visits to the next door fitness center/gym.

Not safe and secure

Posted Aug 22, 2017 on Hotels
Eclipse viewing , price was $300 for a $80 room. Rip off , staff nice , breakfast fine . The back door of motel was not locked to key lock (not secure dangerous) asked front desk to lock it and was told manager authorized it to be left open so housekeeping ( and I guess anyone else) could come 24/7 ,I asked him to call the manager , he did but said manager was unavailable, I asked to be called back and was not . Dowel in window , I was in a ground floor room was not cut to fit 3 inches too small so this was another security issue . Ground floor exit hall reeked of stale smoke . Dresser drawers , both were off kilter and could not be opened . Bathroom sink faucet was so low could not get 18 oz. water bottle under it to fill.

Thank you for the comment. All of the doors lock but are left unlocked during the day and your own guest room door has 3 locks on it. The front door is never locked so anybody your worried about can still walk through the front door. The stick in the window is of proper length and the window itself has its own lock. I am sorry that you felt unsafe.
