John welcomed us and was very helpful with free parking.
The room was a decent size on the top floor in the attic. It had been cleaned, with tea and coffee facilities, but had a dodgy damp smell.
The shower was terrible, luke warm and only a trickle of pressure.
The B&B itself was clean, but had that smell, and was seriously dated. Nicotine beige artex walls throughout.
The bed was comfy to lie on, but had that damp feel and smell about it, which got worse throughout the course of the stay.
Breakfast was fresh, hot and perfectly adequate.
The other guests were pleasant.
I wouldn’t stay again nor recommend, but having said that, it is Blackpool and I’ve stayed in worse!
