It was a wonderful few days with just my wife, relaxing and enjoying our niece's graduation.

Sleepless in Blacksburg

I was placed along side a group of rooms of people there for a wedding. They were drunk and unruly. I asked for a room change at 1 am when hotel staff was unable to control these guests. Just horrible night of NO sleep! No one should have been placed alongside this group as there were other rooms available. My daughter stayed with me instead of her dorm for sleep...she said it was way worse than staying in the dorm.

Nice hotel, easy to get to from I-81. Hotel front desk staff very pleasant - room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Perfect Location for VT

This is an older hotel which has been reasonably maintained, but certainly not noteworthy in appearance. A mismatch of light bulb color temperatures made the room look like a warehouse rather than a residence, but everything was clean and served the purpose. The restaurant and bar were unimpressive - there are many better choices within a short drive. If Virginia Tech is your intended destination, the location was perfect - literally just right across the street and within walking distance.

Delightful Suprise

From the time we walked in I was impressed with this hotel. Its not Trump Plaza but that's closing LOL but the hotel had a fresh clean scent throughout. The staff I encountered bent over backwards for me and was sad to hear the closing of this hotel sometime next year.

Can't beat this location

Front desk staff is unfriendly at check in. Shower rail is hanging loose from the wall. Laundry facility is very poor ( 1 washer and 1 dryer for the entire facility and one guest kept occupied for the machine for hours!!!) Express check out bill left in the room next morning belongs to someone else but charged to my room number! Booked this place 2 weekend in low. Previous week stay was half the price but much more pleasant!

We had an issue with our shower head (Broken) which was unacceptable. The hotel staff took it seriously and compensated us for the inconvenience without hesitation. Would stay here again.
