The exterior of this property is quite "worn"

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: the room was comfortable and breakfast was OK
Cons: The exterior and lobby could stand some housekeeping and paint...it just looks run down.
Location: There did not appear to have much to do nearby... on a Monday only one place to eat was open... it was OK
This property does not look like it has had much outside care in a long time; however the rooms were OK and everything worked and it was comfortable. The lobby seems a tad messy. The "continental breakfast" was OK. I probably would choose a different hotel if we pass through this area again.

Thank you for staying with us. We have started work on the exterior and this should be visible in a week's time.

Great modern hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2017
I had a couple of options to stay at in Blanding this year, but took a chance on this one and it paid off. A nice new modern room and a good night's sleep after a couple of not so great recent stays. Nothing against the other hotels in the area but I don't think any of them stack up against the Super 8.

Suitable for a two night stay

A bit far ( 1 hour +) from Monument Valley, if that's why you're visiting, but a decent hotel with clean rooms.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again. It is pretty far from the parks.

Nice hotel

Posted Jun 5, 2017
Room was spacious. Nice and quiet. Fridge in room was a plus. Front desk person friendly and helpful. I stayed in a pet friendly room. Room was very clean. The carpet was stained, but didn't smell. Maybe they should have no carpet in pet friendly room. Breakfast was pretty basic but good.

Great night sleep after a long day on the road.

Clean, quiet, refreshing. Hotel was clean, room was spacious, the only negative was the fact that the small refrigerator was turned off.....and we know they take hours to cool off...

Pros: Continental breakfast, hotel staff,
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Natural Bridges National Monument is a drive away.
Hotel staff were really nice. The room was outdated, but really clean. The continental breakfast was awesome. This hotel was fine, but Blanding, UT was generally not a fun place to stay as a tourist. We stayed here while we visited Natural Bridges National Monument.

Average place, but clean and friendly

Posted May 16, 2017 on Hotels
Rooms are blandly decorated, refrigerator was bigger than usual, bathroom was huge but the rest of the area was a bit cramped. The breakfast was the usual rolls, cold cereal and waffles. Coffee was really good and the little cinnamon rolls were a nice treat. Our street level room's window did not open. Can you say "stuffy"? I think the hotel is overpriced for what you get but knowing we were there at a popular time when the weather is good explains the higher cost. Even with a "free night," it cost us around $100 a night.
